Summary: Mr. Bean Again
Review: I love to see Mr. Bean as often as i can, and seeing a whole movie of Mr. Bean without a commercial break realy thrills you. Its fun for the whole family and can really cheer you up if you are in a bad mood. Only drawback, why is there just one Mr.Bean Movie

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Movie could not even begin to compare with the show
Review: I have been a fan of the Mr. Bean BBC series for some time now. His antics are hilarious! But this movie really disgraced the show. I found it almost totally unwatchable. There was a lack of good comedy throughout the entire movie. The jokes and dialogue was like that of a awfully directed NBC sitcom [are there any good ones]. It was a waste of time, money and the comedy was not equal to the worst episodes of the of the Mr. Bean show. Don't waste the time or money, i would give it .5 stars but the lowest they have is a 1.

Summary: See the original show instead
Review: I have been a fan of Mr Bean for many years, and a fan of Rowan Atkinson for even longer than that. However, the movie does not really introduce much new material, and re-uses a lot of skits from the TV show. The originals are a lot better.

Summary: Mr. Bean is hated by is co-workers so they send him!
Review: Mr. Bean is hated by his co-workers so they send him to America to get rid of him.He doesn't know that they exspect a Docter in Arts. He Guards them in England so many people think that what he is saying is that he just sits all day looking at painting. Later on you see Bean ( Rowan Atkinson) with a turkey on his Head. This is a hilarious movie it for any one!

Summary: even little children like this one
Review: My two year old just can't get enough of this movie .... we watch it daily! Although I am getting weary of seeing the movie, it is still funny as Mr. - make that Dr. - Bean comes to America to enlighten us about Whistler's Mother (a hideous old cow with a cactus lodged up her backside). If you like the short skits from the PBS shows, you will like this movie too (even if you see it everyday).

Summary: Don't focus just on Mr. Bean's antics...
Review: Mr. Bean is not everyone's cup of tea - as you can see from the reviews. Although I like the short TV skits, I was worried that 90 minutes of the obnoxious Mr. Bean character might be too much. But it isn't - largely because this comedy operates on two levels. Underneath the broad slapstick of Rowan Atkinson, this film is a delicious satire of American (or at least Californian) culture - and in the long run this is far funnier.

Contrast the stuffy world of the "Royal National Gallery" with its 12 old white art historians (male of course) sitting around a table, with the board of the American gallery: a politically aspiring director; an Asian American PR lady; a marketing guy who dreams up a nude "Whistler's Sister" poster; and one lone art historian. Burt Reynolds is great in his brief role of the art-ignorant benefactor who buys "Whistler's Mother" just to keep it out of the hands of the Frenchies. The simple fact that the painting is never referred to by its proper name ("Study in Black and White" or something like that), but by its common title - even by the art experts - satirizes the reduction of fine art to an advertising theme.

A lot of reviews have complained about the "Americanization" of this movie. But this is intentional and is meant to be laughed at. No wonder this movie was such an international hit.

So come to the movie to watch Atkinson, but stick around for the satire.

Summary: MAKES YOU CHUCKLE, BUT NO BIG LAUGHS
Review: Not exactly as funny as I thaught it would be. Not nearly as funny as the dummy in the TV show. My favouate scene was where Mr. Bean is driving around waving his middle finger because he thinks it means hello.

Summary: BEAN: *1/2
Review: I gave Bean *1/2 stars because, even though I'm a fan of the TV show that this movie was NOT funny. What happened to the character of Mr. Bean? This looked good but it was so so so so so so so so so so so so disappointing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The most hilarious movie ever!!!!!
Review: Once again Mr. Bean sets out to create havoc in his usual humerous way!!! This time though, he isn't in England which makes it even better!! Though it doesn't have his Minnie, it is still very good!! This is a must see movie!! Though I would suggest seeing a few of the t.v. series first!!!!!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Boring...boring..boring
Review: This movie could have been great, but it is not. I kept pressing the fast foward button on the remote control and before I knew it the movie was over. Rowan Atkinson is great but the script is predictable and brain dead.
