Summary: The best movie EVER!!
Review: Lost & Found was the best movie ever!!! David Spade was the best actor in the whole movie.
I LOVED the part where he was lip sincing (sp?) to the Neil Diamond song, and then Renee pulled the plug, and then Dylan had to really sing it.
The only bad part was the ex-boyfriend ...EWWWW!!!!!! Then again, that's only because I didn't like Renee.

Summary: Good Movie
Review: Lost and Found is funny and David Spade does an excellent job. Sophie Marceau is cool , but her boyfriend what a dipstick. Its a great romantic comedy that anybody can enjoy. The only thing is where the heck is Hal Sparks??

Summary: great
Review: One Word people: Great. This movie is a collection of some of the best acting, dialogue, and one-liners ever. It is unoriginal, but i place this movie OVER There's Something About Mary. We continue going to see @Quentin Tarantino films, thought they aren't original. Come on people, this is one of the funniest movies of all time, it is on my top 10 list. Email me for the other 9. Thanks, Jonathan

Summary: Stealing a Dog is wrong!
Review: That was why I gave the movie a three stear rating.. Sophie is just so beautiful! The scenes with Spade and the fat guy made me wonder if Chris Farley would have been in the role as the dumb guy? The Dog stole the show! The outakes were really funny though... Jack was so cute when he always managed to make Spade's life miserable!

Summary: A cute little romantic comedy
Review: This film is mostly a vehicle for David Spade and as such it was a mixed bag. The story was cute; nerdy guy falls in love with the girl next door (Sophie Marceau) who totally outclasses him, and he decides the best way to woo her is to steal her dog and charm her while he pretends to help her find it.

I thought the romance angle was enchanting and the better part of the script than the goofy Spade skits with the dog. Much of the film was Spade having sarcastic dialogue with the pooch and it was sadly unfunny. His bits with Marceau were better. By far the funniest scene in the movie was his Neil Diamond impression. That was one of the few scenes worthy of his comedic talent.

The lately ubiquitous Sophie Marceau is sweet as the girl next door. She really didn't have much to do in this film except be French and adorable, which is not much of a stretch for her. She handled it with aplomb.

Probably the most consistently humorous character was Artie Lange as the psychotically sycophantic Wally. He stole just about every scene he was in, and with his enormous size and girth was visually the perfect comic foil to the diminutive Spade.

Martin Sheen had a bit part as the banker, Mr. Millstone and once again proved that no matter how small a part you give him, he will overact and ruin it.

I gave it a 6 overall. A lot of the bits were lame, but there's a chuckle or two for just about everyone in this film and you will probably feel a little better at the end than when you started. Worth a look.

Summary: I love this movie
Review: This is my all-time favourite movie and I'm very upset thatsome people didn't like it. It's like they missed something in it orsomething, like they were making out during one of the more important scenes and they didn't care about the plot, or something like that. However I only recommend buying it if you have a sense of humour, because if you don't then you're gonna be disappointed in this movie. It's just for fun! And I definately recommend this movie if you like David Spade. I love David Spade.

Summary: Lost Indeed: Look, Sophie's Fans ! Strictly for Spade Fans
Review: This is written with a point of view from outside of USA, I tell you, but it is hard to "sell" or "pitch" the name of David Spade, coming from TV Saturday Night Live. That is partly because of his unique persona, and partly because the studios of Hollywood still don't know how to deal with him in bigger projects like feature films.

"Lost and Found" is based on an idea directly coming from "There's Something About Mary". A guy Dylan (Spade) wants to get attention of a next-door neighbor girl Lila (Marceau), so he desperately does what Ben Stiller and other silly boys did in "Mary": kidnapping her pet dog!! However, the dog has some nasty habit of eating anything, and of course, complication follows with her former love following her from Europe.

Spade's acting (or, Spadism, as you might say) is here and there, and with his dead-pan quips he makes us sometimes laugh, so for his fans, the film is a perfect gift. However, as I said before, the film needs 90 minutes to keep us interested, the story, or characters. all of which lack sadly here. The greatest demerit is, the protagonist doesn't seem to deserve the love of the girl, played by none other than Marceau. You may be surprised to hear this, but outside USA, it is presumed, her name is much, much popular than Spade's, and that state makes a big trouble for any of HER fans, who would be put off by Spade's too off-beat comic style.

As one of the old ladies say in this film, Spade's charms take some time to reach the audience. If you are already fan of him, it doesn't matter whatever he does -- steal a dog, anything -- but he needs more than that mannerism he usually shows. Ben Stiller can carry the whole pictute with his troubled facial expressions, for it is simply, undeniably funny by itself. But as for Spade ... probably that is why many of SNL talents find hard time to translate their popularity to a bigger and wider media on the big screen. In short, he had to surprise us, showing more than impersonation of Neil Diamond (remember Eddie Murphy's street-smart attitude in "48hrs"). As it is, with this routine gags and banal story, it is unlikely for the film to convert moviegoers to Spade's advocates.

For European fans, Sophie Marceau is as gorgeous as ever, but as in the 007 film or "Braveheart" she looks quite "fish out of water." And that is not purely coming from her acting, but it looks as if she feels really uncomfortable. Looks for some other French-made pieces if you want Marceau at her best. Even her latest (and dreadful) mummy picture made in France (I don't name it for you) looks better than this one.

Summary: Great comedy, with a good heart, and that David Spade touch!
Review: This movie is a real keeper, folks. I know it didn't do too well in theaters, but GIVE IT A CHANCE!

Lost & Found is the story of a restaurant owner (spade) named Dylan Ramsey, who is doing okay with his cafe, but not so well in the ladies department. He goes through one meaningless relationship after another, until he meets Lila, his new, cello playing neighbor who moves from France with her dog, Jack. Dylan fails to get any sort of attention from this girl until he decides to kidnap her dog, in order to spend time with and get to know her. Humor ensues, romance ensues. All-in-all, a great, fun romantic comedy that i recommend to anyone.
