Summary: It has its moments.
Review: First off, I'd definitely like to say that I don't hate this movie. It's just that there was so much potential for ripe humor and very little of it was tapped. Also, the plot holes in this flick are HUGE. "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" isn't meant to be a sophisticated comedy and that's fine. However, a little more effort could've been used to bring out the humor. It is made abundantly clear at the very beginning of the movie that Bill and Ted aren't the brightest of guys and they have their own style of talking. Unfortunately, words such as "dude" and "heinous" are way overused. The focus of the film should have been more on the historical figures once they had already been brought back to the present. Watching these two guys go back in time over and over to retrieve people isn't funny or very entertaining. Scenes such as Genghis Khan brutalizing a store mannequin are much more interesting. Overall, "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" has its funny and feel good moments but it doesn't strive to be all it could have been. That's bogus.

Summary: 80s Comedy at some of its finest
Review: So why not 5 stars? Well, that's hard to explain. While the movie is a hoot with Bill and Ted racing to get the A they need on their final project in History to keep Ted out of military school in Alaska. Even the plot itself has low-budget written all over it. But, it is suprisingly good. Very good. Most movies like this really do not hold up well under time, this holds up well after over 12 years, which is quite an accomplishment. Most movies lose it after 4 or 5 years. But, this is meant to be a fun movie, and does not let you down.
Not in league with some of the great movies of all time, it wasn't meant to be either. 4 solid stars.

Summary: Alright but funny movie.
Review: As a huge Keanu fan. I will say that this movie is worth watching, but its not the best. It is full of comedy.

Summary: Good 80's flick on bad DVD
Review: For those who survived the 80's, some -like me- will have a particular fondness for this film. Sure it's dumb, put parts are funny and overall was an enjoyable film to kill some time. Unfortunately it's transition to DVD format is quite mediocre. A little better than lousy transfer has specks and spots all over the movie, and the only extra provided is a trailer. Buy only if you seriously miss this movie.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: Good DVD, but make sure to buy the sequel too if you get this one; it's just as funny if not funnier.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Eighties movies do NOT get any better than Bill and Ted! This movie rocks in all concieveable ways, and in ways few have dared ever repeat. This is excellent, but the lack of extras is non-non-heinous.

Summary: The Most Bodacious Flik Ever
Review: A totally excellent movie that all who like good plain fun should see! Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are halarious in this 1989 comedy of two dudes who travel through history and meet great leaders such as... Joan of arc... Genghis Khan.. and Socratic Method, and learn that the world is.. full of history and fun!
