Summary: A great movie about growing up really fast
Review: Okay, this film starts out with a strange and rather crude circumstance. A single mother goes on a business trip. The babysitter dies and the kids think they can make it on their own. But the film quickly improves after that rough introduction. It is interesting to see the way the kids learn to work together led by their teen sister. They learn to survive and then even thrive. But be warned! Christina Applegate looks so hot in this movie that she might fry your eyeballs!

Summary: Unexpectedly good.
Review: I am not usually a fan of Ms. Applegate's work, and was leery when this movie came out, but I actually wound up liking it a lot.

When the babysitter dies, a young (formerly spoiled) teen girl grows up and climbs her way up the career ladder. Armed with an imaginary resume (and great clothes), she rescues an ailing apparel company and even manages to keep her sibblings from killing each other.

Despite a weak plot and a too rapid chain of events (this film will never join any good "classic videos" collection) that make everything too convient, this is a good movie for generation X. It excellently captures the tense emotions many young people feel in their first "real world" job while showing that the people well entrenched in this world are not exactly as smart as they would like to appear.

Review: I saw this movie on tv one night when I was about 10, I then remembered the movie when I was about 14 and for about 5 years I have been renting it from my video store. I wanted it so bad on dvd I sent E-mails to hbo and hear it is. This is one of the most funny, enjoyable movies I have ever seen. So Just by it man It Is AWSOME!!!

Summary: Don't Tell Mom the Baby-Sitter's Dead
Review: I avoided seeing this movie for just about forever! Then when I did watch it, I was sorry that I did not see it much sooner! I loved it, it's got a great story line, wonderful acting! Most importantly loads of laughts!

It is a very good movie for adults as well as children! What can I say, "I just loved it!"

Summary: One of the last great '80's comedies!
Review: Sure, sure, the movie was released in 1991 but I would still say it falls in the genre on the '80's comedies that include "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Adventures In Babysitting". The first time I saw this movie I was 8 and I watched it 6 times straight from beginning to end! The comedy is hilarious, the plot so cool. One reviewer said that the music and fashion in the movie predate it about 5 years. Yeah so but who cares? Christina Applegate does a blockbuster performance and David Duchovony has a part in it. This is a chance for you to see him before he got really big. Do yourself a favour and see this movie. If you're cool, you'll like it!

Summary: Awesome movie!
Review: I remember seeing this at the movie theatre when it first came out, and I haven't been able to get enough of it since, actually! I think you'll absolutely love it! It's really funny, the acting is terrific, and the whole storyline is something worthy of some great applause! See for yourself!

Summary: A kid's dream, but for older people, ugh...
Review: I loved this movie when I was a kid, but, like so many other relics of childhood, it has not stood the test of time. This movie is categorized as a "Comedy" but I think it is more of a loopy, albeit fun, kid's movie. There is nothing realistic about the film, and it seems to be a parody about...well... everything. Keep in mind that this can be a very entertaining plot for young kids... it was entertaining for me when I was little, but older people, say 14+, will probably like something more grown-up, like Batman. :-)

Summary: not too good just ''okay''
Review: this movie was really hilarious, but so unrealistic i mean, christina applegate got away with so much like lying to a business about her age and stuff and she didn't even go to prison or anything!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Started out good but it got ridiciolous.
Review: I was looking for a cool comedy and I was disappointed! This is one of those try-hard comedies that try way too hard to be funny and turn into slack, dumb peices of poo. Christina Applegate is alright, but the story goes way too fast, the granny should of stayed in for longer, she was the good part. This is a classic, but its a miss, sorry, Christina.
