Summary: Absolutely the Best
Review: As I don't own a TV, I was only lucky enough to catch a couple of episodes before I found this FABULOUS DVD set. Warning -- do not watch it if you've been starting an ab-fit routine -- even if your sides ache . . . you WILL laugh! Jennifer Saunder's scripts never cease to amaze me, and the women who play the roles are the ONLY ones equal to the challenges she puts them through! It is so rare that a sitcom is based on an all-female group of characters, but this one has it all . . . conflict, humor (yes! yes!), irony, intelligence, parody, as well as hilariously great costume and set design! The final episode alone kept me laughing for hours afterward! If you love women, love to laugh at women, or are a woman, you must see this series!! Better yet, own it!

Summary: Ab Fab Must Have !!!
Review: Trying to add accolades deserved enough would be impossible. Let it be enough to say that this complete collection is perfect...and the only thing that could possibly get you through until the new Ab Fab episodes are released.
For those challenged by the language barrier, or who just can't get enough of Pats and Eddy, the DVD is perfect for those endless repeats of scenes and lines.

Summary: It doesn't get much funnier than this...
Review: The ultimate in Britcoms, Ab Fab revolves around Eddie Monsoon, a PR agent who drinks, smokes, and takes an entire alphabet of drugs. Her life is fast, because she wants to live it fast. Or at least that's what she thinks. Though Eddie, and her best friend Patsy, make fun out of Eddie's straight-laced teenage daughter, Saffy, she truely only wants her approval.

At times both funny and touching, it's a great show. The writing is pitch-perfect, with never a dull moment. And you have to give enormous praise for the acting. Jennifer Saunders is on-par with both the verbal and physical lunicay of John Cleese. Julia Sawahla is great as Saffy, who plays it so straight that it's a really joy to see the few times she cracks up. (See the first episode.) And Jane Horrocks creates the funniest and greatest character to grace British television, as Bubble is someone you need to see.

Ab Fab is a great comedy that was mainly overlooked by American audiences, but if you're looking for something laugh-out-loud funny, try this Britcom.

Summary: OUSTANDING but one complaint
Review: Of course its wonderful to get them all on DVV and the extras are wonderful but....why don't they have SUBTITLES? the jokes come so fast, you NEED subtitles to catch everything!

Summary: A Gorgeous Little Thing
Review: What an amazing collection of metal and technology this set is! "AB FAB" is the most wonderful show that has ever graced television. This set is "complete"(minus "The Last Shout")guide to the world of Patsy and Edina. The bonus disc contains the great "Ab Fab Moments" and "How To Be Absolutely Fabulous" and some other little trinkets. Also not to be missed are the outakes that are on each disc. They are hysterical! Like a previous reviewer, I too and dissappointed at the edited episode "Death". The "Like A Prayer" joke was funny as heck, and should have been left intacted(but hey-that's business). If you are a hardcore Ab Fab fan than grab this must have item, the episode are timeless. Enjoy!

Summary: Hilarious British Humor
Review: Every episode of Absolutely Fabulous has me laughing heartily throughout no matter how many times I have seen it. Finally it is available on DVD, and the picture is astounding. A must have for any fan of British comedy.

Summary: For the pain, darling
Review: this is the kind of thing dvd's were made for-- whenever I'm tempted by boredom or glumness to eat too much, or smoke too much, or drink to much, I watch a little abfab instead-- these horrible brilliant women will cheer you right up in less than five minutes.

Be warned that if you watch more than two episodes at one sitting, you'll have to finish off a fresh pack of Camels and a cold bottle of Bolly before you're ready to face the world again...

But think about it: television's stock in trade is sitcoms about men who act like children--you don't get to see women behave badly, and behave badly so well, very often. Probably not since I Love Lucy. This is a brilliant, brutal show.

Summary: like the name says
Review: This is a truly wonderful collection. It is hard enough to catch these shows on comedy central, so now we have the whole series in one package. Eddie and Patsy are true heroes for this modern age of gluttony and perversity. They are so cool. Poor Saffron, already an old maid/mother figure...

If you enjoy British comedy, you will love these shows. Dark, twisted humor that is just delightful...

I thought the dvd work was very well done, also. The extra bloopers are really funny.

Buy it!

Summary: Love some AbFab
Review: From the first time I saw this series on Comedy Central, I was hooked. There was just something about htis show that I really like, and I love it when a show can just let loose and say or do things that tv show's here seem to lack today. The timeing of everyhting is just right and perfect for the moment!

When I met my husband, (who's from England) the first time we watched tv together he said, 'well, I would watch something, but you might not like it. I don't think you get this show in the states anyways'. After pressing him to show it, he flipped on Absolutely Fabulous! I was so excited to see he liked the show also. But I was saddened to see that it was over after only 18 episodes. But thankfully these episodes are together on this DVD collection. This is still my favorite DVD in my collection. A great item for any fan of AbFab! I absolutely love this show and I hope you will too!

Summary: My favorite series!
Review: I first came across this fantastic series while living overseas. Luckily when I came home, it was playing on the "Comedy Channel". Who couldn't love the irreverant twosome of Edina and Patsy? Their antics are so brazen and politically uncorrect-like addictions to alcohol and drugs, slutty clothes, maipulation of others, to name a few.

The humor is totally British and fabulously funny! I could watch each episode over and over again and still laugh.

Saffron, Edina's daughter, is the bookworm, uptight antithesis to these two. Friction always arises between these two and Patsy herself picks a catfight with the young girl.

I heard that more episodes will be made due to a cult following and I can't wait!
