Summary: Yo
Review: ... Anyway, best how on television. The only show I make a point to watch, and I've gotten my friends hooked on it too. Can't wait to buy Season 2 on the day it comes out, like I did with Season 1, and will with seasons 3 and 4!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thanks HBO...
Review: ...For bringing us this amazing show!
It is somewhat similar to Seinfeld, but is way edgier and goes into much more embarrassing situations than Seinfeld ever did and thereby succeeds in delving into corners of the mind that everybody has, but that no one is particularly proud of and many people even deny.

I am going to pick up the DVD for season 2 the day it is released, and will then wait anxiously for seasons 3 and 4 to be released.

Summary: Disappointing...
Review: Cheryl David has become a total harpy.
I fear that the character this season is based more closely on Larry's real life wife. She's not cute or funny, she's just mean. I really like Cheryl Hines and she was great in the first season, but I hope to see less of her from here on out. She has turned into another superficial yuppie politically involved annoying pampered Hollywood wife. YUCK!

That said, Larry, Jeff and the others are still very very funny.

Summary: No smarter or funnier show on TV!
Review: Curb Your Enthusiasm is the program that Seinfeld should have been. It displays an edge that you've never seen in a sitcom before, and it is--at times--downright painful to watch. Larry David is a complex character, and the guy playing him has obviously done his homework. If you just watch one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, you'll be hooked!

Summary: No show has ever made me laugh harder!
Review: Did you ever recall something so funny that it made you laugh out loud? Have you ever laughed to the point you were crying? That you actually HURT from laughing so hard? Well, this show does that to me. This little show that Larry David has created is pure genius. Now, it did take me a couple of episodes watching it on HBO before I got into it, as Season One definitely has its hits and misses. But the ball really gets rolling in Season Two. I can't wait for Season Three, it just keeps getting better. This is the best thing on television. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who watched "Seinfeld" regularly; as it's kinda fun to see the similarities between the two in it's own right! I just wish the DVDs had more extras, but they don't, so that's that. But I still love this DVD!

Summary: Nowhere near as funny as the first season
Review: Don't get me wrong...I don't regret the purchase. It's just that the first season was consistently laugh-out-loud funny and this one just isn't close to that level.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best show on TV
Review: I am a big fan of Seinfeld and I love Curb Your Enthusiasm even more.

There is not a lot of extras on the DVD but the episodes are extremely funny.

It's a little bit expensive but it's a great Christmas gift to receive.

Summary: Probably the best show on TV
Review: I am not an avid viewer of television, but of the few shows I do watch, Curb Your Enthusiasm is by far the best. Larry David is absolutely hilarious. One thing I can warn people who have never seen the show before: Firstly, you need to start watching the shows from the very first episode, you'll appreciate the humor that much more. As well, one thing I personally went through is that at first the show seems very boring. After getting into it, however, you'll start to see each character's personality, which is what makes Curb shine. After you get into curb, you'll be addicted. The only complaint I would have against curb is that eventually you get to really like David's character on the show, but unfortunatly, like the George on Seinfeld who was based on David, nothing will ever work out for David, and things always will go bad for him to no fault of his own. You'll almost find yourself wanting him to succeed just once! It can be slightly frustrating at times, but is too minimal to take away from this great show. 5 stars!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Still superior to all other TV comedy series...
Review: I rated this four stars relative to the series as a whole; in relation to every other comedy currently on the air, it really warrants the full five stars. In short, I have to agree with other reviewers who feel Season Two is probably the weakest in the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" series. Still, this is worth the price of admission for the "Doll Head" episode alone, maybe the funniest 30 minutes ever aired in television history, even if the rest isn't quite up to the usual Larry David standards. And while I'm not generally a fan of DVD extras, shelling out 35 bucks for a no-frills five-hour's worth of viewing seemed a tad inflated compared to similar DVD sets on the market (really, all the HBO series DVD's are over-priced).

It was still worth it in the end, as nothing makes me laugh harder than watching this poor shlub stammer his way through ridiculous situations of his own making. Priceless moments this season include an uncomfortably realistic bit with Jason Alexander suffering the slings and arrows of post-Seinfeld Costanza-typecasting; Ed Asner's hysterical turn as a gruff and horny old geezer on his last legs; and a horrified Larry encountering his shrink sporting a package-revealing thong at the beach -- not to even mention the nightmarish water bottle incident in the "Doll Head" episode.

This is "Curb Your Enthusiasm" undergoing growing pains, unsuccessful in fully re-capturing the spontaneous greatness of Season One and not yet on the reliably steady legs that will later hallmark its prime. While the writing and guest spots improve markedly in subsequent years, this series is still superior to everything being served up by the networks, even in its weakest hour.

Summary: Curb picks up speed...
Review: If Bonus features are a must for you, subtract 1 from my score.

The second season of "Curb your Enthusiasm" is the last season that felt, to me, like the show was still finding itself. There is a distinct stylistic difference in the 3rd and 4th seasons, I feel. But rest assured this season (and series, for that matter) was and is absolutely hilarious.

If the 'season one' pack was any indication, we can expect a well packaged, but unfortunately dry collection here. Everything about these DVDs sparkles with loving care and careful thought.....That is, except for the special features section...Which might very well be non-existant this time around. The first season came only with commentary on the first episode, the unofficial "pilot" episode, and an interview with Larry David that focused primarily on the 3rd season.

The interface (which I assume will stay largely the same) is clever, interesting and easily navigatible. But in terms of bonus features, it looks like this set may be entirely "extra" free.

...But when you're dealing with as original and genuinely funny a series as "Curb your Enthusiasm", just owning the episodes is a reward in itself. I showed the first season to my a few of firends and two out of three of them went out to buy the set themselves.

(...)Anyway, I hope newcomers will give the series a try, and fans will excuse the little to no extras provided. Curb is a great series, and can be enjoyed by almost anyone 15 or older.
