Summary: Stay in the IMAX
Review: This "movie" was great in the IMAX theater but lacks some of its luster when it moved to DVD. Michael Jordan is a great athlete and this is an outstanding tribute so it should stay at the IMAX to give it the size that it deserves.

Summary: Jordan fans will love this
Review: This is a great movie documenting the 1998 season. It goes through what it is like to be MJ, on, and off the court. It skips around with interviews and highlights, but it is a MUST for anyone who loved the Bulls.

Summary: Entertainment and educational value wrapped in one film
Review: This is a must for all sports fans, coaches, teachers and parents. Even if you do not have an IMAX screen in your living room, the highlights of Jordan and the basketball scenes are impressive on the tube as well. And while sports fiction movies are often criticized for their storybook endings, this is the true story of a sports hero, perhaps the greatest sports figure of all time, going out on top as a champion. Finally, this is the perfect movie for any coach, teacher or parent wishing for a tool to teach their children, athletes and students about work ethic, commitment, teamwork, and perserverance. I highly recommend owning this film.

Summary: Jordan to the Max
Review: This is the best Jordan movie of them all! I have seen all the rest, and this is the best! The storyline and integration of MJ's highlights is oustanding! That is why I gave it 5 stars!

Summary: Sensational
Review: This is, in my opinion, the finest video/documentary on Michael Jordan. It is head and shoulders above all of the dunk'o'rama highlight fodder which fills all of the other Jordan videos.

The production values are top notch. The colours are vivid and the sound is crisp. The voiceover commentary is provided by Laurence Fishburne and sets the tone well. Because the movie was filmed using IMAX technology it has a wide view of the on-court action which allows the viewer to take in everything which is happening. The DVD extras are more of an afterthought and do not really bring much to the mix.

As I alluded to before, this film focuses more on Jordan's leadership and his burning desire to win, which is a refreshing change.

Jordan is one of my favourite athletes. It is nice to finally see a production which actually pays him and his abilities the respect he deserves. I highly recommend this film, even more so to those people who never saw him play prior to his comeback with the Wizards, as they will see him when he was at the absolute pinnicle of human skill and ability.

Summary: this is not even a documentary
Review: when i bought this i wanted to see jordans dunks, his tricks, the moves. but no, this is a documentary of jordans career and the main focus is targeted on his last year in the NBA.

actually, i'm not even sure if i would call this a documentary. it contains an interview with michael (specially done for this dvd) and a couple of other interviews, but almost none with other players.
it hardly covers all the stuff i would have wanted from a documentary.

so, if you are looking for some clean action - don't buy this dvd.
