Description:

Measuring a mere 8.5 inches square by 3 inches high, the Cyber Home Prism's compact design makes it ideal for anyone seeking the quality and convenience of DVD technology for the living room, game room, bedroom, kids' room, kitchen, office, or college dormitory--anywhere where space is limited. The player is compatible with DVD-Video, VCD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 CD. It plays both NTSC- and PAL-formatted discs, convenient for viewing non-region-encoded U.K. DVDs. Parental password protection locks the player when viewing would otherwise be unsupervised.

Composite- and S-video outputs grant compatibility with most televisions. A single set of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions, and both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio-video receiver.

Supplied accessories include a power cable and DC adapter, a composite-video/stereo audio interconnect, an instruction manual, and a universal remote control with batteries. Units sold in the USA play discs encoded for Region 1 only. The Prism is not a "region-free" player, and the region code is not user-changeable.
