Summary: Watch this make you come back for more...
Review: 5 stars in the soft genre, though it's not in the slightest. It's erotic AND romantic AND tasteful. Lots of female nudity and a good story line. The actors are all attractive, and reasonably adept, and only one character is a sleaze bag, which is relevant to the thread. It's a chick flick with skin, even has a happy ending. Camera and sound are first rate; good sound track. Rented it, watched it; rerented, rewatched it; ordered it here.

Summary: This movie sucks!
Review: I admit, coming home after a long hard day, putting on the comfy clothes, dimming the lights, and popping in a good quality soft core movie is one of my guilty pleasures (even better when there is someone there to watch it with). I watched this one last night, and let's just say I was fighting back sleep by the time it was over. The only reason I even gave it two stars is because the gorgeous and very talented Jennifer Burton is in it. This movie did her absolutely no justice. It was shot in cold, hard, dark "New York City" lighting, and I didn't find that appealing in the slightest. And let's not even get going on the story line. I know most of you men out there could care less if these movies have a believable storyline, but it's important to us women. I didn't find any of the characters particularly interesting, even Jennifer Burton's character came off as needy and [not good] (and thus, unappealing). There was a little too much overkill with the naked models frolicking around, and left me wondering, where's the action? Just when I thought things were going to get good between Jennifer Burton and the cold, bitchy new tenant, (the sight of them trying to get squnched up under water in a hot tub is almost hilarious, and not even remotely hot) both parties backed away from each other and left me saying "no nooooo please keep going!!" This is the softest soft core I've seen in a while, and it's not worth a dime. If you want to see a good quality soft core movie, try Play Time (which just so happens to star Jennifer Burton, and is a great movie for the most part), Passion's Peak (great movie, one of my favorites), or Personals. Leave this one alone.

Summary: Short-changed
Review: I think you should know that although the slip-case of this video tells us that it runs for approximately 90 minutes,my copy, including credits, ran for only 72 minutes.
Looking again at the case I see that the film is 'Edited'.That's an understatement, and in 2002 I don't expect soft-core erotica to be cut at all.

Summary: Not for everyone
Review: Jennifer Burton is beautiful, but the film is REALLY trashy.

Review: Jennifier Burton is a bona-fide thespian. I seek to write her an e-mail and encourage her to extend her range of acting. She is the first petite body that I have ever liked. I am not old, but old enough to know that she is a unique women. She should have had more involvement with the "peeping-jane than she did. The Dance routine of the peeper was so hot I turned it off because I was too embarassed to feel the way I was feeling. It's a very good B-movie. You know what to expect in a way, but this one is not silly at least. I wished it had actually got more invoved with the photographs that one of the co-stars was taking. I will buy it for the artistic themes if nothing else. Jennifer Burton is beyond words. Julia Roberts is overrated compared to Ms Burton!

Summary: One to "watch"
Review: One of the better mid-90's entries in the soft-core genre, this film is just now getting wider notice. The actors and actresses are all attractive, the story is stronger than usual in "late night" entertainment, and -- best of all -- the film features a rare appearance by the lovely Jennifer Leigh Burton. She seems to have disappeared after doing this film and "Playtime", an even better movie, so savor her when you get the chance!

Summary: Don't Watch This
Review: This movie bills the beautiful Jennifer Burton as the star but she is more of a supporting actress. There are worse films in this genre but that is not a good reason to watch this one. I would recommend instead that you check our Jennifer Burton in Playtime and Jennifer Hammon in Allison is Watching. The original Emmanualle with Sylvia Kristel should also be purchased before considering this mediocre effort.

Summary: Do not watch Watch Me
Review: With the notable exception of an Avalon Anders cameo in the middle of the movie, this edition into the softcore genre does nothing to bolster its place in movie history and everything to reinforce the stigma associated with the B Movie industry - poor acting, bad directing during erotic scenes, poor plot development and an inevitable habit of leading the viewer on for 90 minutes without any provocative satisfaction. Do not watch the unrated or R rated of Watch Me. You are better off giving the $10 to $20 to charity.
