Summary: Diamond in the rough
Review: I agree with chicago on this one. It`s a very dark comedy that shines in a few spots. The opening sequence alone is worth the price of admission. Coach Adler`s day just keeps getting more and more bizarre as it rolls along.

Summary: What in the....
Review: I have no clue what movie the guy from Chicago was watching. The only reason I bought this film is because it is an absolute joke to my friends and I that this film even exists. It is an absolute slap in the face to all other decent sports films (i.e. Slap Shot, Caddyshack). there is not one redeeming quality about this movie and I cannot believe that anyone would ever recommend it to anyone except for its laughable value.

Summary: B-Ball Heaven!
Review: Richard Lewis slam dunks one of the darkest, hippest roles of his career. It's a shame this film didn't get it's due in theaters as most of my friends who see it watch it time and time again. The basketball footage and editing is maybe the best I've ever seen in a sports film. But mostly this film rocks because of Lewis and how he,once again, as he did in "Drunks", displays a really dark, electric side and passion for dramatic acting. The plot twists are extraordinarily dark but the real fun is watching Lewis coach a team of misfits looking more like Pat Riley on acid. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

Summary: A b-ball game comedy
Review: Usually I would not wirte a review however the other review listed is so dead wrong that I must. This movie is a satire of b-ball in college. It also has some great lines and the main actor is very funny. The overplaying of the roles by everyone and hyped up acting are designed to be funny and yet it pokes fun at college b-bll business.

I found it very funny and engaging and it falls in the movie genre of off beat movies such as Thief with Alec Baldwin and Thursday. Not a great movie but entertaining.

Review: You have got to be kidding!!!!! This is a must see for ANY video (read tv) afficionado! So what there is a little cursing in this movie. Man, its the best basketball movie I have ever had the pleasure of viewing bar none! Man what a RUSH! and surprise ending!!!!! the director should have gotten an oscar. This is one INCREDIBLE movie. I just can't believe it became a cult offering. (just goes to show that the people who really appreciate movies fly just under the radar!) Any other basketball movie or "9 yards" burt reynolds movie just pales in comparison although that may not really be a good analogy. Literally, there is just no describing this movie it's just a one of a kind and as far as I'm concerned If you can't appreciate this movie you're really missing because this is just indescribable. so many references to "dark" are just a load of crap for people who can't put the language into perspective. What a movie!!!!!! Get ready for a true EXPERIENCE!!!! From the black would be basketball star to the sexually deprived coach, its a cult classic!!! watch this or BE SQUARE!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!
