It shows how he went from a "GOOD OLD COUNTRY BOY," to a corrupt superstar. In my opinion Lane Frost is one of the best people who ever lived and this movie describes his life to a "T"!!

Review: 8 Seconds is a totally awsome movie about the life of a cowboy traveling from rodeo to rodeo. It shows the hardship and pain of life along with the good parts. It is a real life movie. It was a biography that someone could really get into. It has a great story behind it and it is about a real hero that parents would like their kids looking up too. Lane played by Luke Perry is an all around down to earth American cowboy living his daily life while trying to get his father's love.

Review: 8 Seconds is the best film you will ever see. But to really get the true meaning you have to know a little about Lane Frost and about rodeo. Rodeo is a hard but great sport that is not just a hobby, but a life style. Lane lived that life and did what most Cowboys and Cowgirls only dream of, winning a NFR Champion Buckle. You never hear a bad word spoken about Lane. The rodeo arena wont be the same without him and I know God appreciates this great cowboy. We all know how he is enjoying his time in the rolling valleys in heaven.

Review: 8 seconds is the portrayal of lane frost a rodeo rider that died just two years after getting the championship. The film groups good actors and great writing to create an accurate portrayal of a true hero. With all of its tear jerking moments and inspirational feel, 8 seconds is one movie that everyone should see. Lane frost was a young man in the pursuit of a dream of becoming a great rodeo rider and he succeeded as far as i am conserned, i just wonder if he wasn't taken from us so soon what he could have been capable of?

Also, the fact that it's based on a true story just makes it really touch your heart, and it's very easy to get caught up in not just the movie, but the people's lives in this story. I don't often go to rodeo's, but this movie gets me real pumped up to go watch some bull riding! It's very inspiring, and I recommend it to anybody who loves a good movie!

Review: 8 Seconds may not have been the best among critics, but it has won a place in my heart forever. As Lane struggled with being "a cowboy and a nice guy" he showed us all the true happiness that comes with living your dream. That's what the movie is all about and the actors and actresses did an outstanding job. I laugh and cry (no, SOB) EVERY time I see this movie and I recommend it to anyone who still believes in heroes. Cowboy UP!

Summary: What an excellent movie to tell about a cowboy's life!!
Review: 8 seconds was one of the first movies I have seen about rodeos and THE BEST I have seen. Lane had a great personality and showed he truly cared about the rodeo. He was a great role model to the kids who wanted to be in the rodeo. I had never heard of Lane Frost until that movie, and now I try to learn about him and the rodeo as much as I can. I'm very glad they made this movie. The movie was one of the best that I have seen and I'm glad that they made it.
