Summary: A wonderful Story
Review: ... Hannah Taylor Gordon does a wonderful job as Anne herself and the roles of the others make her role shine. Ben Kingsley the man who played Otto looks so much like the real him. The lady who played Miep I think her name is Lilly Taylor is perfect for the job. Jessica Manely as Margot is so pretty and just blooms whenever she comes on screen. They also open up what is was like for the family in the concentration camps. I highly recommend this movie for older Holocaust readers, it is the best Anne Frank movie I have ever seen!

Summary: A fitting tribute to the unbeatable spirit of Anne Frank!
Review: I first viewed the Anne Frank story on tv. I had never heard about her and at first I wasn't interested. But then as the movie progressed, I became glued to the screen. I was enthralled at being able to view a young girl's life as if I was there in the room with her. After watching the things that she endured in the concentration camp and how horrible it must have been wondering that at any moment she may be taken away from her family, I just had to read the story in her own words. After reading her diary and was astonished at how close the movie was to the book and at how deep the feelings that were being poured out by a longing heart onto each page. (I so much wanted to give a hug of reassurance.)
Except for the concentation camp, of which no one really knows the exact happenings, the movie was almost exactly as her diary. I was delighted and amazed at that fact.

I came away from the movie and the book with a stronger thankfulness that I don't have to endure the things that Anne did. That I live in a free country and that fear doesn't engulf me when I go outside, or walk down the street. I continually thank God for that priviledge.

If you haven't seen this movie, you MUST! The movie is on my top 10 list and it is truly an amazing tribute to the unbeatable spirit of a little fourteen-year-old girl.

Summary: A Great Drama
Review: This is a wonderful movie, although it's very sad. It's the only movie I've actually cried at. It's the story of Anne Frank's life, starting a little before the diary and ending with her father, Otto Frank, finding out that his daughters and wife died in the concentration camps. This movie is very interesting as well. It's almost as if you're really there. I think that it's actually worth 6 stars or more.

Summary: The BEST of All the ANNE FRANK Movies!!!
Review: I've seen ALL the movies on Anne Frank, and THIS one was the most "real" of them all. The others were well-acted, but lacked that realism this one had. You were "right there" with the group. Every sound made your heart beat faster...as if you were there yourself. This was the ONLY one that made me cry and "feel" what they were feeling. Ben Kingsley played the best OTTO FRANK, and Hannah Taylor-Gordon "was" in MY mind..."ANNE". Near the end, the scenes from the concentration camp brought up the deepest of gut-hatred for the Nazis. Hannah actually LOOKED like she was dying. I've never seen such "realism" in ANY movie before, even SCHINDLER'S LIST (which I thought was excellant).
This movie is well worth owning and watching again and again, ESPECIALLY when WE feel we have it bad. Nothing but thumbs up, and a "Triple AAA" from this gal. A MUST to see and own!

Summary: The queen of diaries
Review: I've studied Anne Frank for a long time but this is what started me to take an interist in Anne Frank. The movie starts from where the nazis take over amsterdam to where otto finds the diary. I never thought that there was so much more to her story then what I already knew. Hannah Taylor Gordon looks exactly like Anne, they couldn't have gotten a better actor if they tried, not to mention someone who writes just like her. Jessica manley did a great job as Margot bu she was kinda of short to be Margot, and hopefully, Margot would have changed her mind about moving to palistien after all the suicide explosions they've been doing to the isralis lately. Ben kingsley looked exactly like otto frank and if I didn't know it was him, I'd say it was Otto Frank. Brenda Blythen loked alot like Mrs. Van Pels and was funny too. Joachim Krol looked a little like r. van pels except the real Mr. v.p. looked alot older. Jan niklas looked a little like Mr. Pfeffer but like Mr. v.p. Mr. p looked alot older. Lili Taylor looked kinda like Miep and sounded austrian just like the real Miep. Rob Das looked alot like Jan gies and was real good at his part. Tatjuna blacher looked a little like Edith and was bossy with anne just like anne discribed her in her diary. It was such a touching movie and I recommend this to anyone who's a big fan of anne frank.

Summary: Anne Frank-The Whole Story
Review: I think this movie was very interesting. I thought they should of focused more on the Nazi Concentration Camp insted of in their hiding space-the attic above Otto Frank's office. Also, the movie should of focused on what happened to the males as well in the camps.

Summary: Anne Frank - the best one yet!
Review: This is ABSOLUTLEY the best movie ever created about Anne Frank. To be able to put into words what i think about this movie is extremly hard. It was very emotional, and very informing about what happened OUTSIDE of the attic, before AND after. I especially thought that the actress who played Anne herself was exceptionally good, and she shared a common likeness to her. I am greatfull that somebody would take their time to make such a wonderfull movie that tells her story. very, VERY good movie i may say.

Summary: The whole story
Review: This was one of the most moving films I have seen in a very long time! I'm not a sentimental person but this film pulled all the right strings. I would like to say, that as with the real Margot Frank the actress who played her, Jessica Manley has been forgotten in all the reviews that I have read, she was only a backround character but had a huge onscreen presence.
Well done to all the cast and crew for producing a film that I won't forget or a long, long time!

Summary: bah
Review: God, how much more are they going to jam the holocaust down our throats? In school they made us watch this and Schindler's List in one week, as we read about 5 books about it. Personally I'm tired of all of it. If you want to see some good movies about WWII or the Nazis, check out Das Boot, Saving Private Ryan, Stalingrad, Mein Krieg, or Triumph of the Will.
