Summary: My two-year-old still loves it.
Review: Even though he has it memorized, he loves to watch it and "sing" along and, especially, growl with the dragon. It's a boy thing, ok? :-D

My other children love it as well. And, as with the other musical Baby Einstein videos, this one is not annoying to parents. A big plus in children's video today.

Summary: Pain in the neck
Review: We own 4 of these DVDs, and the content is great, but there are a rediculous amount of commercials at the beginning that cannot be skipped. Spare us the garbage, please!

Summary: Mama, I want that toy I saw in Baby Mozart! Pleeeeeze?!
Review: This is essentially a 30-minute commercial for Baby Einstein. Every scene features a different Baby E. toy, all of which are available through their web site, naturally. Look, I've no problem commercials, but at least call a spade a spade. Slapping a bit of twee classical music on the top of a commercial does not make it "educational." Baby Mozart is a brilliant bit of marketing: Baby E. are making a killing off of a bunch of -- shall we say, "less than savvy" -- new mums; the production costs to make these commercials are low, and the rest is profit, profit, profit! Don't be a tool. You can find about ten billion things more educational than this stuff without even trying.

Okay, bottom line, though: does my son like it? Well.. yes and no. He became marginally interested when things came on the screen for which he knew the names (banana, balls, bear, bubbles, water, etc.,) but pretty much ignored everything else. He didn't seem to enjoy the music at all (he prefers things with a good beat he can dance to.) He'd much rather watch an episode of Dora the Explorer, where he can learn language and counting, not just look at pictures of toys. However, he is, at 18 months, perhaps a little older than the target audience -- it is called Baby Mozart, not Toddler Mozart, after all.

Summary: Best baby video out there
Review: I started to purchase the Baby Einstein series when my baby was five months old. At first I was very leery about purchasing videos for my baby because of the Barney/Tellitubies nightmare burned into my memory from the in-law's household. I cannot stand those characters or those vidoes! Anyway, I have sat down and watched this video with my daughter quite a few times and give it two thumbs up. Here's why:

Pros:
Pleasant music
Teaches babies cause and effect
Classical music is stimulating

Perfect length for little ones
Language nursery has flash cards for more teaching fun
Sleepytime mode to soothe baby for bedtime ritual

Cons:
I'll have to edit this if I find any!

Summary: The best Baby Einstein video for infants: get your copy!
Review: We have this video of thr Baby Einstein series, along with Baby Van Gogh and Baby Neptune, and every single time, no matter how cranky our 5 month-old is, Baby Mozart will calm him down and get a smile out of him (and he can be very cranky at times!) If you watch it with an adult mindset, you will find it to be a bunch of nonsense: it seems a bit chaotic, no dialogs, etc. But for babies, it works magic: it's as if it was made in their language, and in a sense it was, since it employs color, lights, movement and most important of all, music. Mozart's music accompanies each and every moment of this video, reinforcing once more why this composer's works (here arranged to be more baby-like, with chimes and similar sounds employed to play it) is just marvelous music for kids.

Whether it develops the baby's intelligence or not, I won't argue about, because I can't give an informed opinion about it. But one thing I can say, and it is that Baby Mozart, along with Teletubbies and a handful of other videos will become a favorite of your baby past the second month. I was recommended to get a copy by a friend, and now I pass the advice on to new parents.

Summary: Baby Einstein Series
Review: I am now a believer. I started with Baby Einstein and later bought the first four in a boxed set (the extra copy was drafted as a gift to my cousin who is expecting in August '04). I was very impressed with both the premise of introducing visual and audio stimuli to baby minds, as well as the result. Although I'm not a child psychologist, but as a new dad I did more studying before my daughter's birth than in all four years of college put together, so here's my conclusions and observations.
Our daughter gets very excited when Baby Bach or Einstein comes on. She actually knows the opening music when it plays, and immediately props herself up now for it. She is then nearly entranced by the program. We also attempted to introduce primarily classical music to her in vitro as well.
To all of us who are new or expecting parents this is a super helpful tool. I believe it may indeed help in the early development of the creative, memory, recognition and cognitive functions of our 'minime' kids.
Also, our free time evaporates and energy reserves get sapped early on. Life is easier, and rewarding, to sit with my daughter propped up in her boppy and talk to her while baby Einstein is playing. It's relaxing and I have watched each DVD that she watches, several times in advance to make sure it was appropriate.
In closing, advice is free, but I wanted to share our experience with others. I think the Baby Einstein series is a great tool to enhance our babie's learning while also giving us some time to recharge.
In addition to the Einstein series I stuck with Lamaze toys early that were in primary colors and the recommended black, red and white for newborns. She's still snuggling with several of them.
Good luck and God bless!

Summary: A Godsent!!!
Review: My son is 6 months old and absolutly loves this video as well as the Baby Beethoven DVD! It's a wonderful DVD that combines Mozart's music with eye catching images that move or stand still. It will hold your child's attention (and yours as well), just as it says it will. I love my son and we enjoy our time together, but when I have to get some laundry or dishes done, this video is a great distraction.

Summary: MUST HAVE FOR ALL PARENTS!!!!!
Review: I have to say this is one of the greatest things my husband and I have purchased as new parents! Having heard about it from a fellow new parent we first purchased baby mozart for our 3 month old son and immediatley he stopped fussing and was mesmerized the whole way through. Our son is now 13 months old and to this day sits through the whole DVD without a peep. Some of the other Baby Einstein DVD's we have bought him are, World Animals, Baby Neptune, Baby Galeilo, And Baby Bach. He loves them all. Let me tell you, Im a working mom and when im trying to get ready in the morning, i just pop that baby in the DVD player, put my son in his highchair and Im good to go. I also found my niece who is now 2 1/2 also loves it and asks to watch them whenever she comes over. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS!!!

Summary: Good but my child prefers "SINGING BABIES"
Review: I have a seven-month-old boy who, like his siblings, enjoys Baby Mozart. However, nothing gets him going like "SINGING BABIES NURSERY RHYME TIME" and "SINGING BABIES TODDLER TUNES." These two videos command his undivided attention in a way that nothing else can. And I mean nothing! He vocalizes sounds...trying to imitate the babies that appear to sing in the video. It is amazing to watch. That is why I would recommend Baby Mozart as good infant stimulation, but SINGING BABIES makes my boy not just an idle watcher but a real participant.
