Summary: Great
Review: The photography coupled with the music was very well done. Baby is still watching it at 2. Very realistic portrayals of animals and was very instrumental in teaching the animal names. I even enjoy watching it.

Summary: Absolutely captivating for my daughter & I bet for yours too
Review: This dvd by Baby Einstein is one of my daugthers absolute favorites!!! This dvd features some of the Baby Einstein puppets and absolutely stunning photography of the " world" animals. They include animals in the Savannah, Jungles, and Ocean. This is one of the few dvd she will sit down and watch from begining to end! The music is enjoyable for both child and parent!!! The tigers and the macaws are my daughters favorite animals and she giggles everytime she sees the blue "pop-up" Monkey! A must have dvd for the child that loves animals! We also have the Animals in my neighborhood, and it's cute, but not a nice as this dvd! Emma gives this 2 giggles and 2 claps!!!!!

Summary: beautiful, colorful animal footage
Review: This DVD has beautiful footage of animals in their habitats. It's broken into 3 main categories of Animals in the Jungle, Animals in the Ocean, and Animals on the Savannah. In the Jungle section, the animals shown are: Tiger, Tropical Bird, and Monkey. The Ocean segment features: Sea Turtle, Dolphin, and Fish. The Savannah segment shows: Elephants, Giraffes, and Lions. Each animal has about 5 minutes dedicated to it which includes a musical video, toys shown of that animal, and a mini puppet-show that introduces the next animal. I bought it for my 2 yr old son because he loves Elephants and it's been a hit (he loves the whole thing).

Summary: Great Video
Review: This is the best Baby Einstein video we own. The music is great, the puppet shows are great, and the animal footage is great. I have a very, very active toddler. Her attention span is not that long, and when this video comes on, she won't take her eyes off the screen. We use it mostly on long car trips when she gets fussy. It keeps her very happy.

Summary: Captivating for all children!
Review: This is the second Baby Einstein video I bought, the first being Neighborhood Animals. It is so colorful and eye catchy to young children. My child is 28-month's old with Autism. She normally does not like to watch videos for more then 10 minutes, but this one captivates her for the entire 30 minutes. Do not let the 101 minutes on the label fool you, that is 30 minutes of video and 61 minutes of music you can listen to like a CD. The animals are: Tigers, Elephants, Tropical Parrots, Giraffes, Dolphins, among many others all beautifully filmed in action. It is much like a really good PBS Nature show, but with each animal on the screen for no more then 5 minutes. In-between the animals segments there are puppets playing and some toys to watch- all animals of course. We love this video and it looks incredible on DVD! A must have as well as Neighborhood Animals. I just bought some more Baby Einstein DVD's and will review those as well, but the animal ones are by far the best.

Summary: We love it
Review: This is the second Baby Einstein video we've purchased ourselves and my kids (ages 6, twins 3 and infant 7 mos) absolutely love it. They love seeing the puppets and toys and the live video portions. I think the song that is sung is very enchanting and well done. I am looking forward to getting the other videos in the library.

Summary: I think this one is the BEST one out yet!!!!
Review: This one is my son's absolute favorite of all the Baby Einstein tapes!! He CANNOT watch it enough!! The best part (for him) is when the blue monkey comes out of the box little by little and then shakes his head real hard, my son just loses it and then about falls out of his chair laughing when the monkey comes right after it and slips on a banana peel!! It's just too much fun to watch him enjoy the tape. Both Doolittle tapes are awesome!! But we have and love them all!!! (all the Baby Einstein tapes)

Summary: Less than happy, here's better ones
Review: This video just doesn'nt seem to cut it. The images are nice,
but the puppetry is a bit scary and uninviting. It just seems like a waste of energy to watch.
I really like Baby Animals, both in the Wild and on the Farm from DK products. Also try Baby KnowItAll for 2 and under.
they are all better than this.

Summary: ...
Review: This video was lent to us by a friend of my wife's. Thank god we didn't waste our money on it. This video has way too much very [poor] puppetry, interspersed with a very little stock nature footage (probably cost them nothing) and a couple of scenes of kids in costumes ([inepensive]labour?). Our 18 month old daughter enjoyed (or, anyways, watched) the video once, but now only wants to see the actual nature footage. I don't blame her as the other parts are horrible. If you want some nature footage though, this video is not the way to go. Get something from PBS or the BBC, something that actually has educational value, not this piece of***.

Summary: My daughter's favorite video
Review: This was my daughter's 1st video. We received it as a gift from my mother when Ryder was 6 months old and she was hooked. She wanted to watch it everyday and she asked for it by name. At 8 months, She learned how to say "Jane" (after the monkey puppet's name)when she wanted to watch the video. at 9 months, she said "bird," and now at 12 months, she can recognze and say all the animals featured on this video. her language has greatly improved through Baby Shakespeare as well. I love these videos!!!
