Rating:  Summary: It will due Review: Although some of the moves are Tae-bo like, the tape has distinctive combos and moves. The workouts are a little too brief for me (the intermediate workout is only a half hour long but has the intesity of a Tae-bo basic workout). I felt the workout and use it inbetween Tae-bo and my kickboxing classes. Just don't pay any attention to the blond girl behind Silk or you'll bust a gut! Overall it is a good tape for someone who finds Tae-bo too difficult or just wants to mix up their kickboxing routine. Also, I wish there were more DVD features or "extras" on the DVD.
Rating:  Summary: a quickie for the busy folks Review: This tape actually has some comedic qualities to it..first of all,for those who like EXTREME beefcake there are PLENTY closeups of silks pecs,biceps,etc..(Its a Chippendales/Playgirl review and exercise tape in one!)....In the first segment Silks workout partners are a petite blonde who doesnt seem very tough but is very easy on the eyes, as well as another hardbody, a brunette who appears a bit tougher,in back of him is a thin dark haired guy who we cant and dont really see because he is blocked by all Silks muscle..The workout isnt too long,which is good for those who just want to get SOME kind of exercise in but DONT want to put in alot of time..Then we are "treated" to about 5 minutes of a shirtless Silk shadow boxing and doing martial arts moves,(I guess in case one of us happens to be some sort of agent with work for the chrome domed chiseled coach) and in the intermediate segment (OH JOY) we get to see Silk in a pair of short shorts which showcase his quads..Personally,I would recommend this tape to BUSY people and newbies,cos it is relatively short,or as an ADDITION to Tae Bo to break the monotony..
Rating:  Summary: Nice workout Review: I like the instructor. He keeps you coming back for more. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the dvd structure that prevents you from going straight to the workout part instead of having to fast forward every time. Maybe i'll reburn it with chaps. :)
Rating:  Summary: great alternative Review: This was a much more enjoyable workout for me than Billy Blanks. The moves felt more realistic and Silk Manning was not out to work people to death. This does not include any ab work (just so you know).
Rating:  Summary: I know a secret Review: Anyone who is interested in purchasing this DVD, I have to tell you, don't. (Not because it's a bad workout, it's a fantastic workout. It got my heart pumping and I felt completely energized when I finished.)The intermediate workout on this DVD is a bonus workout on the DVD "8 minute arms and abs". This is also a excellent workout, plus on the "8 min.." DVD you don't have to put up the Silk's endless posing in the intro.

Rating:  Summary: Bulge Galore Review: Craig was not kidding when he wrote his review below. Silk is gorgeous. His bulge is awesome. Huge one. Great view to watch him bouncing all around in them tight white shorts. Even if you do not want to do the workout. Just buy it for the bulge watching.
Rating:  Summary: Commercial on Silk too long...can't forward on DVD Review: The workout part is good when you FINALLY get to it. You have to sit through the posing of Silk Manning in what seems to be forever and the DVD isn't programmed to advance to the start of the workout. When you start a workout, it goes immediately to the "how-to" part and you can't do anything but watch it everytime. So, you have to fool with seeing unuseable stuff for 10-15 minutes before you can begin exercising....and this is on the DVD.
Rating:  Summary: Motivational - EASY TO STAY CONSISTANT Review: "Khi-Bae" may be too short for some people, but for the rest of us with very busy lives it is easy to find the time for these videos. 'Beginner' is 20 munutes and 'Intermediate' is 25 minutes. Both take you through warm-up, work-out, and cool-down. I have been doing these workouts for 8 months, and I still am not tired of doing them. I still do the 'Beginner' once a week and 'Intermediate' once or twice a week. When I have time, I can do a video twice, or both back to back, or one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Silk Manning is the best. I have many videos and checked out many. Silk Manning is by far the most motivational, and he is easy to follow. The only downside is that he doesn't have many more exercise videos. The first day after I started doing "Khi-Bae" I felt a new sense of balance, and now I am much leaner and the most stretched out and limber I have ever been. My neice walked in once when I was doing "Khi-Bae". First she laughed, but when I finished I had to start the video over because she wanted to try. Now she loves Khi-Bae too. She finds it very refreshing. If you are a busy person - give it a try! You can't beat the price!! Silk Manning - if you are out there - please make a "Khi-Bae - Advanced".
