Summary: If you have no time or are a beginner, buy this
Review: 8 minute arms are fast and easy, and you can do it without weights or with weights (or soup cans if you don't have weights). 8 minute legs are easy, and you use your chair or couch, perfect for the beginner. 8 minute abs are a bit difficult, definetly work your way into those. 8 minute buns are not for the weak kneed, you definitly need an exercise mat. All the workouts are so fast, it doesn't even feel like your working out.

Summary: Tough but Effective
Review: I am a 24 year old female and I own a couple of fitness DVDs and I have to say that this DVD is the most effective at working my Buns and Abs in a short period of time. One of the videos that I own that is comparable to this one is Tamilee's I Want That Body. Let me tell you, the 8 minute workouts are much more tough. Although Tamilee's video is more visually appealing and professional, I still favour the somewhat cheesy 8 minute collection. I don't feel the legs workout is very effective. The arms workout could be effective but I don't really use it. All in all, I definitely recommend the 8 minute abs and buns section. The 8 minutes definitely fly by because the lead instructor is always encouraging the user to continue. It also helps that there is a countdown clock on screen - it really helps to keep me motivated. Yes, I find this video awesome. There is no excuse to not set aside 16 minutes a day for tighter buns and abs.

Summary: I think I like it...
Review: When I looked at the title, I thought - what the hey - only 8 minutes. I can do that.

I rec'd it from AMZN a couple days ago and brought it home, popped it in the DVD player and away I went. So far so good.

The workouts are fairly precise, SHORT and short. Short is good for those of us who don't care to work out except for a nice walk outdoors.

The lead guy is tolerable - he's built which makes me have the illusion that if I do these workouts 8 min. each day I'll become buff :) His outfit often takes attention away from the video though....it's white w/ black stripes and suspenders - straight out of the 80's. The music? Blechhhh. Corny corny corny. BUT - you're not getting this for the music - you're getting this because it's ONLY 8 minutes a day, which if I can handle it? Anyone can :)

The "legs" workout is alright - I've only done it once so far. The "buns" workout rocks. Really felt the results, especially the next day. The "arms" workout is just OK without weights, but adding even 2 or 5 pounds to each arm really makes a big difference.

One of the best things about this is that it's short but it also has a constant countdown in the corner of the screen. It keeps track of how many seconds you have for the current exercise and how many minutes total you have left for your workout. I really like that.

I plan on alternating "buns" and "legs" every other morning and doing "arms" each day regardless.

All in all I would recommend this DVD set. I also ordered the Winsor pilates DVD and will enjoy seeing the difference in presentation and results. BUY this - certainly doing 8 minutes a day is much better than doing nothing at all. If not for your physique, for your self esteem :)

Summary: High on fitness quality, low on aesthetic appeal
Review: When this DVD began playing it appeared to be a quintessential eigthies workout video featuring disgustingly good-looking people with appalling fashion sense. To my surprise the workout itself was excellent. I could literally feel my muscles tightening and firming. I also appreciated that the video was absent of the mindless chatter that often accompanies fitness instructors. Most of the comments seemed aimed more at the host's assistants. If the aesthetic value is truly important to you, then this is not the video for you. You will be shocked by the striped unitard. But if you are looking for a quick, effective workout, this is the DVD to buy.

Summary: Who isn't pressed for time these days?! Try these !
Review: I have had this DVD set for a couple months, and it is great! I am working on getting in better shape, but somedays just don't allow for a 30-45 minutes workout (treadmill, DVD/VHS, etc.). At least I can do one or more of these workouts, and yes, you feel them! Also, BONUS workouts are included-what a nice surprise: 8 Minute Stretch, plus Gilad and Bodies in Motion. I am looking forward to results with this no-nonsense set!
Good luck with your fitness plan, and God bless you during this new year!

Summary: Perfect for new moms!
Review: I bought these to help me get back into shape after having a baby. I figured I could fit in eight minutes at least a couple of times a day. I am so happy I bought this set, it is great! Sometimes I will add one or two of the workouts to my cardio workout, or sometimes I will do all four in a row. The exercises work and I love the format because there is no irritating chatter. You have eight minutes and the instructor gets straight to business and works you straight through those eight minutes. There is an optional eight minute stratch that you can do on each of the DVD's if you need it. Also, the time counter lets you know how long you have for each exercise and counts down the eight minutes, which is very motivating. I HIGHLY recommend this set of DVD's to anyone looking to firm up their body and especially to new moms.

Summary: Really works!
Review: I only had this DVD for a couple of days, but I love it! I really feel it in my abs already. I also love it because it doesn't take up a lot of my time. I can seem to find 8 minutes to exercise!

Summary: YOUR PERSONAL INSTRUCTOR
Review: This Video is really good. It has 4 sections of 8 minutes for your abs, legs, buns, and arms, it also has aerobics, kickboxing and more. I really enjoy the clock on the screen and the instructor is really good. It also has different levels for beginners, intermedias, and experts. I love it !!!

Summary: Excellent for beginners and spazzes
Review: When I first started these workouts, I was in awful shape, I mean winded at the top of the stairs, and I'm not even overweight. These workouts definitely got me moving along, and I even noticed a difference within a couple of weeks, especially the arm and leg workouts. Once I'd been doing them for a while, I wanted something more challenging and more cardio, but I still use them for something low-key. The abs and buns you can really, really feel the burn on. Not exactly sweat-inducing, though.

The bonus workouts: The 20-minute kickboxing workout was a very cool bonus and great for cardio, though it took me a couple of times to get the hang of it. The others seem to just give a 5-minute sampling or require equipment, but the 8-minute stretch is a great warm up/cool down.

Summary: Not for the relatively fit
Review: I am a relatively fit person, who wanted a quick daily ab work out to get ready for the summer months. After reading the reviews, this DVD sounded ideal. Afterall, I definitely have 8 minutes every day. However, I do not find the work out challanging. Even after three days of continual use, my abs are not sore. I am disappointed and will probably have to invest in another DVD that is more challanging. Does anyone have any suggestions?
