Summary: Great Workout and fun, fun, fun
Review: I love these 8 min workouts. The male instructor is enthusiastic (and cute)! I like the music and the workout is challenging. It has a countdown bar and stopwatch so you know how much time you have left for each exercise and for the whole workout.

Check my other DVD reviews on Amazon.

Summary: Short but works!
Review: I love this tape! I alternate 2 of the workouts after my cardio. I recently started seeing a personal trainer and to my surprise she even recommended these (especially the ab video). The workouts go by very fast which is great because I hate to exercise. Jaime is a good instructor and not irritating like some.

Summary: Really works!
Review: I only had this DVD for a couple of days, but I love it! I really feel it in my abs already. I also love it because it doesn't take up a lot of my time. I can seem to find 8 minutes to exercise!

Summary: Application Developer
Review: I really enjoy using this video. I have noticed a significant difference in my stomach and buns. Those two sections of the workout are great. The Arms and legs are good too but I feel like I need a harder workout to really tone them. So I recommend lifting for that.

Summary: Really like the Program:Needs an update
Review: I really like having the 8 minute workout. It makes it easier to exersise and talk yourself into one more segment. I especially love the 8 minute stretch segment as that is where I always lack in the exersise department. I would however, like to see this DVD updated. It would be easier also if they were all on one DVD instead of having to change the disc when I want to work arms and legs in a given day. These were recorded in 1994 and the format looks dated and old. Over all I am really happy with my purchase and pleased with the continuing results.

Summary: Great quick workouts!
Review: I really was skeptical about being able to get a good workout in eight minutes. After seeing this, I am convinced! The ab workout is great and the arms and butt workouts made me sore the next day and I would not consider myself a beginner. I did not really like the leg workout, but it would be great to do along with your other leg routines. However, I am going to continue to do the rest of the workouts every day. I look forward to it and the instructor is really great. He offers modificatations for beginners and challenges for the advanced. I loved these workouts!

Summary: Not bad, but not good either
Review: I was pretty much underwhelmed by this - it is so obviously an out of date, 80s production (frightening striped lycra, I had nightmares, and the comment about shoulder pads? Eeek!). Despite what my husband believes, the 80s were not the pinnacle of all human culture and knowledge. That being said, it is an okay basic workout. The arms section is the reason it gets two stars. Abs section I give one star. It was not very good, it focuses on the upper abdominals too much - you need more balance in ab sets. But the arms section is a decent workout, if you use weights (forget the tomato can crap - if you really want intermediate, get yourself some 2 or 3 lb dumbbells or you'll get hand cramps). I use three lb weights when I do Pilates, so I stepped it up to five lb for this one, will probably go up to ten lbs in a month or two. Only problems is too much focus on the biceps, not much tricep work, but that's a personal preference. The buns and legs section was less than impressive, IMHO. This workout was definitely designed for a man. Major note here - there is NO warmup - you must give yourself a warmup first! The 8 minute stretch is a decent cooldown.

Summary: A Good Value
Review: Many people here have already commented on how good the workouts are, and I echo them. What I really want to talk about is the value of this double DVD set. Maybe you've noticed that you can purchase the Buns & Legs, as well as Abs & Arms as separate DVDs here on Amazon. Save yourself a few bucks and get them both here! The DVDs in this set are the same as the single versions, with the same bonus workouts. A very good value here, not to mention the investment for better health.

Summary: Just What I was Looking For!!!!
Review: on the days that i go running i like to come back and do a quick toning exercise... just so i feel like i covered all the bases. i was bored with doing the normal crunches and am not familiar enough with free weights to put together my own routine. these videos are perfect.. eight minutes is a perfect amount of time and it's nice to have some instruction.
