Summary: What a crap !
Review: Sorry but there is nothing positive I can say for this movie. Is the director get paid to make such a crap ? Is he really a director ? How do the producer/director get the money for it and how come distributors are interested in it ? The main actress is full of xxxx and mainly the other actors of this piece of xxxx are. American Psycho , the original, was something different, creatively made, and full of surprises so what happen ? Please do not think of American Psycho 1 in your choice to hire or buy this sequel because there is no relation at all !

Summary: I liked it!
Review: Hey, it ain't Citizen Kane, but if you want to see a cool, twisted, and cheezy murder flick it's pretty cool. Also seeing William Shatner and Jackie from That 70's Show start to get it on was pretty wild. It's not really funny like the first one was, but it's still enjoyable.

Summary: It's a SATIRE. . .watch it satirically
Review: As a satire goes, it's 5 stars, consider it anything else, you would have to consider taking all the stars off. Mila Kunis is defitnetly smart to play in such an intelligent movie.

Summary: Nowhere near the original...
Review: This movie was a major dud. I was so hyped to see this movie, when I saw it I just shook my head. It has nothing to do with the first 'American Psycho' movie except for the beginning when Patrick Bateman was killed by Mila Kunis. It just made no sense, had no real plot and the casting was horrible.

'American Psycho II' is about a girl (Mila Kunis) who enters school to become an FBI agent. During the movie, she decides she wants to be a teacher's assistant. As luck would have it, she has other people in competition with her for the position, so she begins to kill them off.

Summary: What on Earth was That???
Review: First this is probably the worst film I have ever seen.Second, this has nothing to do with the original American Psycho but by name! so the title is misleading..(it should have been named 'the Yawning' or 'How to not direct movies' or something..
It is yet another straight to video/DVD serial/psycho movie with a twist,it manages to be consistently awful till the last minute, and then when you think it is safe to watch movies again, in comes the chance in the last scene for a sequel a la Hannibal Lecter!! God Help us all!
Mila Kunis is gorgeous and talented, but I think she made a terrible choice for her first leading role in features, whereas William Shatner is one of the best actors of all time (er..just not on earth, but on some spaceship looking for earth).
The only thing that could have redeemed this movie is for the filmmakers to have opted for the erotic thriller genre and spiced it up a bit, but maybe they took themselves too seriously as artists to do so, who knows??
Anyway, avoid this film at all costs.

Summary: Disgrace to the original.
Review: I might have given this movie 2 stars, except that just having the same name as the first movie is a slap in the face to fans everywhere. This movie is horrible. If it wasnt for the name, this movie would have been long forgotten.

Summary: No Good
Review: Well its a stupid movie with a stupid plot, but Mila Kunis is quite good, I dig her a lot. Someone should put her in a real movie and see how she handles it.

Summary: Unbelievably Awful
Review: Having not yet seen the original AMERICAN PSYCHO (2000) that starred British actor Christian Bale as the titular character, Patrick Bateman, as made infamous in the ultraviolent novel of the same name by Brett Easton Ellis (unread by me as of yet), I could only imagine how much better that film must be than this piece of utter garbage. AMERICAN PSYCHO II: ALL AMERICAN GIRL (2002) was obviously made (tellingly, by none of those involved with the original) as a quick cash-in; unsuccessfully, I may add. I happened upon it on one fateful late-night on some cable station. I was just reminded of it in my writing of STAR TREK reviews. Why, you may ask? Well, because this unbelievable movie just happens to co-star none other than Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner!

Playing a middle-aged, sleazy college professor, Shatner gives his all in a completely broad-stroked role. He doesn't fare any better than Mila Kunis does in playing the titular character of this film; an "all-American girl" who (unbelievably) kills Patrick Bateman as a 12-year-old girl, who grows up---if you can call it that---to yearn to be a criminologist, who turns to serial murder as a way to achieve her goals. Well, I'm sorry, but Rachel Newman, as a combination of wisecracking one-liners and a modern-day Jason Voorhees, just doesn't cut it (so to speak). Narrated by Kunis, famous for playing Jackie on the hilarious and well-written "That '70's Show," this film makes her and Shatner each drop the F-bomb (in his case, twice) which does something for shock value but does nothing for those of us searching for a good film with characters that we can care about in the slightest way. Come to think of it, it was Alicia Silverstone in the 1995 comedy smash CLUELESS who famously said, "Searching for good grades in high school is like searching for meaning in a Pauly Shore movie." I'm positively sure that even good ol' Pauly Shore couldn't find a whit of meaning in this witless, brain-dead slasher-comedy-flick wannabe.

AVOID

Summary: Why? Why? Why?
Review: American Psycho was a masterpiece. Christian Bale gave an incredible performance as Patrick Bateman. And this makes American Psycho II even worse by comparison. It was rather unfortunate to have to say that the best performance was given by William Shatner. (Who is supposed to play a college professor playboy.) And Mila Kunis' character is just improbable to say the least. Will someone explain to me how a such a small person can impale a full grown man with a broom handle? Some of the death scenes are intended to come off as amusing, but just end up annoying and predicted. An acceptable movie for those who want a rental to laugh at on a boring night, but by no means expect the genius of the original.

Summary: Why did they bother??
Review: Not really a sequel to AMERICAN PSYCHO, this is basically just a direct to DVD hackjob (courtesy of writers Alex Sanger & Karen Craig, & director Morgan J. Freeman- I'm not sure if he's a relation) made to try & cash in on that movie's success. Obviously, they failed.
Mila Kunis plays Rachael Newman, a student of Behavioural Sciences at Quantico who happened to witness the brutal murder of her babysitter as a girl at the hands of Patrick Bateman, the original AMERICAN PSYCHO, so in retaliation she kills him. The police never link her to the crime so as a result of this Rachael has discovered she enjoys killing & decides to devote the rest of her life to killing other psychos as a form of retribution in order to better understand how they think & advance her career prospects in the FBI. She thinks of herself as "the Robin Hood of serial killers".
Ironically, her college professor is none other than James T. Kirk... woops, I mean Robert Starkman (William Shatner) the FBI profiler who caught Bateman.
This movie (almost) recreates the "microwaved cat" scene from Bret Easton Ellis's original novel. But that's about it. One of those "Why did they bother?" sequels, loosely & clumsily tied to the original (a la THE RAGE: CARRIE 2). Add to this some of the stupidest gore scenes ever put on film & the notion that we're supposed to believe that cute college girls are attracted to pudgy old Bill Shatner! The story is stupid, the dialogue is stupid, the ending is stupid, but AMERICAN PSYCHO 2 will probably be remembered as "the movie where Captain Kirk got eviscarated". None of the actors here have the charisma Christian Bale showed as Bateman (still his best performance in my opinion). Avoid this, & stick with the original. If "sequels" like this continue to be green-lighted then you may want to keep your eyes peeled for FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 12: JASON VS SPOCK. The machete versues logic: something this movie lacks- sharpness & intelligence. Also appearing in the film is Geraint Wyn-Davies, best known from the cult TV show FOREVER KNIGHT.
DVD extras include the trailer, commentary tracks & an alternate opening). If you still care.
