Slide your optical media in from the top, toaster style. The player spins more than just DVD-Video discs, however--it's also compatible with DVD-R, DVD-RW, audio CD, CD-R, and CD-RW, as well as with both MP3- and JPEG-encoded discs. The entertainment possibilities are limitless. A composite-video output--switchable with a composite-video input for viewing camcorder footage or a game console on the D1750T's screen--simplifies hookup with your home TV, and the stereo minijack audio input conveniently doubles as a minijack optical digital-audio output for direct connection with a Dolby Digital or DTS-decoding AV surround receiver. Analog connecting cables are included. The player also transmits infrared audio for use with wireless headphones--a great way to sidestep tangled cords when you're on the road.
