Summary: Best Nightmare overall
Review: The plot changes well by placing freddy in a boredom dilemna of needing more Elm Street Kids to Kill after all the originals had died. Lisa Wilcox played a very convincing Alice Johnson and the ending was creative through the character development that Alice had to go through. Great movie from the great 80's decade.

Summary: Evil shall see itself, and it shall die
Review: This movie was much more brighter than the previous 3 (Part 2 was such a sorry exuse for a movie it was good to see 3 and 4)The only thing I didn't like about this movie is that Patricia Arequette wasn't back to play Kristen, and that too many of the kids died (you should atleast have 1 survivor) The story was pretty basic, Freddy wants to kill the remaining Elm Street kids, but the unique part of the script is the Dream Master part. Her name is Alice, and she has the power to absorb other peoples abilities. She soon gains excellent fighting skills, above average intelligence, amazing agility, all of these she uses against Freddy. The film has excellent special effects, and if you are a fan of the series you will definitely like this addition.

Summary: Strangely good and brighter than the others
Review: Freddy Kreuger is back yet again. Brought back to life by the lead character from part III and sets out to kill the last of the Elm Street kids (not again) but nearly a half a dozen new victims. Like three, the special effects are great and the characters are thick enough to survive the teenage acting syndrome. But we're getting sick and tired of the same old routine.

Summary: I didn't like the 4th
Review: Hi, I wanna say that the best nightmare on Elm street movie's the 3rd and the worst's the 4th... I didn't like this movie... It seems that Sheila (Toy Newkirk) was really dead on the tray of shooting of this movie, is it true???

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: good
Review: not as good as 3 but acceptable. Same body count as 3. all the elm street kids die(dang it) and some new kids Freddy can have fun with. If you see the other ones you have to see this one.

Summary: THIS MOVE IS THE NIGHTMARE OF ALL NIGHTMARES
Review: This is definately the best nightmare. It had the best visuals and freddy was really freddy. You know what I mean. I definately like the way the charachters were set up and how it completely continued from 3.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This Nightmanre is A Good Dream
Review: Englund's performance is excellent and can't be touched not to mention the addition of the new charecters being involved is great the girl that dies in the classroom is an ametur actress who landed that role when she entered a contest to e in the movie. Next to # 3 this the best.

Summary: The Most Visually Spectacular Horror Movie of All Time
Review: No, this is not the best Nightmare film, in my humble opinion(that still belongs to the better-than-ever original). However, Part 4, along with Part 3, are the most ferociously entertaining in the series. Part 4 is particularly exciting, offering superb effects and set pieces and a surge of pure adrenaline into the series. Sadly, with the exception of Wes Craven's excellent New Nightmare, this would be the climax of the horror saga, as the next installments underperformed at the box office and in terms of impressing fans. Though no longer in print(still a mystery to me) there is a rumor that the film will be released along with the other Nightmares on DVD this Halloween, meaning a video rerelease is inevitable.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Uninspired and uninspiring.
Review: A lot of people like this. I can't quite understand why. The makers of this film admitted that all they did was film a lot of special-effects sequences and then find any old excuse to cobble them together. It's a shame that Wes Craven's original idea for this film, involving time-travel in dreams, wasn't used. Instead all we get is special-effects and nothing else, just some tosh about Kristen (quite obviously played by a different actress, her character also completely different) giving her dream powers to somebody.

Unmemorable sequel, Freddy now about as scary as a court jester. There's an excellent soundtrack, but it's completely wasted on this dross.
