Summary: A True Sequel
Review: True sequel? This movie is a great follow-up to part 1. People have dissed this movie because they read other reviews about it. The truth is that this move is actually better than most sequels. Jesse, the main star, starts to have nightmares in the house from part one. The father bought the house because he knew that no one else wanted it because of its past. Jesse befriends Lisa and he tells her about his nightmares. Together they find out about Freddy and what has happened in the house. Grady warns Jesse but he doe not believe him at first. The story is fresh and has some really great scenes. Please see this movie if you have not and don't listen to negative reviews. Just try it out and you will see how great it is.

Summary: Not a great but a still strong Horror Flick to the Original.
Review: Five years later, when a sentitive teenager named Jesse (Mark Patton) is now living in the House-where Nancy Thompson used to live (From the original movie) living with his Parents (Clu Gulager & Hope Lange) and his sister (Christie Clark). When his new friend (Kim Myers) finds a diary of Nancy's hidden in his Room, where Nancy used to be in. Finding out horrible, terrible secrets from her Past and Murderer, who used to kill kids in the neighborhood and thier dreams! Now-Jesse is now dreaming about a man named Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), who does always tries to contact him and make him things, that he wouldn't do. Since Freddy wants to use his Body to Control him and Being in the outside world, where he could kill again.

Directed by Jack Sholder (Alone in the Dark, The Hidden, Wishmaster 2) made a worthy follow up to the Original. But the film betrays between the World of Reality and Dreams, which doesn't really put it off and almost losing imaginative premise of the first film. Still, it's still scary and Englund as the film's villian is meancing and frightening. This was also a bigger Box Office Hit than the Original. This Sequel is quite Ambitious, since this film has some Gay Overtones in the Plot. DVD's has anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1) transfer (also in Pan & Scan) and with an strong Digitally Remastered Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Some might call this Worst of the Elm Street films but It's not (depending on some, who seen it). Grade:B+.

Summary: Breaks the Freddy Rules
Review: One good thing about this movie is the way Freddy looks. It might be a good movie if it wasnt N.O.E.S. 2. Its kind of like Halloween 3 is the black sheep to the other Halloweens. Its cool that Freddy was in it, but they broke the Freddy rules in this film; Freddy can come out and kill people without them being asleep??? I just have it because it came in the box set.

Summary: "Good movie, but a little disturbing..."
Review: Now don't get me wrong, "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge" was a good movie, but some parts were really disturbing. Like the part where Jesse's tongue gets really long, that was really weird, or when there were those two parrots in the cage and one ripped the other one to shreds and then burst into flames, that was just weird. I think most of these Freddy movies are too weird for their own good, but they are still okay movies. I think Wes Craven went a little too far with this one, but maybe they'll get better as they go, who knows. If you haven't seen this movie yet, then I suggest you rent it first, and if you like it, buy it.

Summary: Very Underrated?
Review: Well this film is very underrated in the Nightmare On Elm Street series. I don't know why. Yes it is different from the first one but that is good. Cause many sequals manage to just do remake of the first one. this one is good. The music is different and the mood is also. It is a sequal and I think it is a great idea to have a boy to be the real victim in the Film. it is also well acted and the suspense and thrilling is also here. Many people think that 3 was a lot better than this one I have to disagree and that film were merely special effects and that's it. I think this is the second best Nightmare On Elm Steet film the next to the first one.
