Summary: The best in the Nightmare Series
Review: Dream Warriors is a rarity amongst films--it is a sequel that surprasses the original. The 3rd entry into the popular Nightmare on Elm Street series finds the last children of the people who murdered the infamous Freddy Krueger in a mental institution, each plagued by violent nightmares with the brutal killer. Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon reprise their roles as Nancy and Donald Thompson from the first movie. Dream Warriors featured a talented young cast of actors (including a young Patrica Arquette and Larry Fishburne before he was famous) who actually make you care about the characters. Dream Warriors is also very special because it's the first movie in which Freddy used the teen's fears and/or talents to kill them. Freddy is also still scary in this film and not the jokester he became in the later entries. Check it out!

Summary: A LOT Better then the second one, not as good as the first]
Review: Picking up where the original Nightmare left off, Nancy has grown up and become a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy. She meets a group of children at a local hospital facing Freddy Krueger, the same demon she once encountered in her sleep. One of them is Kristen, who has the power to draw other people into her dreams. Working with a male doctor assigned to the case, Nancy helps the kids realize their special abilities within the nightmare world. When Freddy captures one of her charges, she leads a rescue attempt into Krueger's domain, in hopes of putting his spirit to rest once and for all. I will totolly admit this is a huge improvement from the second one. Wes Cravin obviously was so busy working on making a follow up for Nancy Tompsan to reappear they must have not been done in 1986 so they made the sadest excuse for a Freddy Kruegger movie in A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 Freddys revenge and made up for it by making A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Wariors. I'll admit that this one wasn't as scary as the first one but all in all Wes Craven succeded in making it 100% better then Nightmare 2. I liked the fact that Nancy came back but not the fact that Nancy died, but in a way this was good because if Nancy was still alive it would make it that much harder to make a forth Nightmare. I'll admit that the girl that died from watching the interview thing on TV wasn't the best actor, And the Actress that played Kristin wasn't all that great either but these are all just very little things whitch is why I took away only 1 star but overal if you've seen the first one but not the second one, skip Freddy's revenge and go to Dream Wariors and don't worry in every Nightmare that has been made (Except Nightmare 2) never even once makes a reference to Nightmare 2 so missing Nightmare 2 wont effect anything and you'll save money too.

Summary: dream warrior 2
Review: I thought this is a great movie there were some scenes that gave me the creeps like that one scene in which the puppeteers' puppet turns into Freddy and then kills him and also the battle between the doctor and freddys' skeleton was pretty cool . I wish people would stop being so picky about this movie and about the series. In my opinion this was by far the best of the NOES series. I would suggest that you watch this with the lights on and don't have the very young kids in the room.

Summary: "The scariest Nightmare yet..."
Review: Although weird (again), A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 delivers fantastic chills and scary sound effects that will keep you buttoned where you're at. This is a step in front of the first two, because you're looking down a hall, dreading the moment when you'll finally hear the screeching of the razors on Freddy's hand and see the demonic figure himself. I thought it was especially scary when Freddy pulled off his shirt and his stomach was covered with the faces of the children he'd killed (see the back of the original cover of Nighmare 4). And, we find out that the souls of children make him strong, so that also is pretty unfortunate for our "Dream Warriors". Heather Langenkamp returns as Nancy Thompson, who has now become a psychologist who specializes in nightmare treatment, and tries to settle down the nightmares of insomniacs. She is left to confront the horror Freddy one last time, and then doesn't appear again until New Nightmare. Robert Englund is much better at Freddy, and I thought it was cool how they actually made the combat scenes with Freddy more stylized. In short, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is probably the scariest and best Freddy I've seen yet, but I still haven't seen 4, 5, and 6, so we'll see...

Summary: Best In the Series!
Review: I loved this movie. I thought it was the best movie in the series. It was very entertaining and had a great story. The cast was totally convincing. I think that if you love Freddy, you'll love this movie.

Summary: It [stinks]
Review: How anyone could think this was scarier than the first is beyond me. It was so [weak]. Freddy was good for one movie okay, no more Freddy, he's dead face it, people don't like scary movies anymore, they like Scream. Horror is diseased. Too the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Halloween I'm sorry. RIP. We will no longer get real horror. We had a peak with The Exorcist, and went down hill from there. The first was scary, the rest [stink]!

Summary: the actual sequel to the original
Review: A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is more of a continuation to the first film opposed to Part 2. Nancy returns as a psychiatrist to help these kids who have nightmares about Freddy Kruger. This movie is very creative is some ways (especially the dream sequences). I recommend this movie to anyone who liked the first and/or second Nightmare on Elm Street.

Summary: Best Sequel.
Review: This is the best sequel to the original. This should have been part two but it is three oh well. This movie stars Patricia Arquette and Heather langenkamp and John Saxon reprising their roles. This movie had great looking special effects considering the 4 million dollar budget. The best scene is when Phillip is turned into the puppet by freddy, I thought it was gross but it looked really cool. Anyways I recommend this film. After this one the 4th one the dream master was pretty good and I recommend that but the 5 and 6 th in the series were really bad I don't recommend those.

Summary: Not Bad For A 3rd Sequel To The Popular Series!
Review: 3 years after Nancy Thompson (Langenkamp) and her friends were haunted in their sleep by the evil Freddy Krueger, Nancy Thompson has now grown up to become a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy. She meets a bunch of kids who reside on Elm Street who are also being haunted in their sleep by Freddy and makes them realize about all of the special abilities that they can encounter during nightmares. One of the kids is Kristen Parker (Arquette) who has a special ability to pull people in her dreams. After 2 patients are murdered by Freddy and 1 is captured, Nancy realizes that Kristen might be the key to helping them destroy Freddy forever. They must hurry to Freddy's hideout where they can hopefully destroy Krueger before it's too late!

In general, "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3" was a really good 2nd sequel to the popular movie "A Nightmare On Elm Street". Unlike "A Nightmare On Elm Street 2", this movie picks up the pieces to where we left off in the 1st movie. We also see some popular characters from the original film (Heather Langenkamp who played 'Nancy Thompson' and John Saxon who played 'Lieutenant Donald Thompson') We also meet new characters, such as Kristen Parker (Played by Patricia Arquette, who's brother David would later play the popular charcter of Dewey Riley in the popular 'Scream' movies, also directed by Wes Craven) I think that this film was a great addition to the NOES series. It included some chilling scenes and great suspense. It also had some great music as well. This is a film that no NOES fan would want to miss! Recommended! 96 minutes.
