Rating: Summary: Nice Special Effects ! ! ! ! ! Review: Great Movie. Weird Begginning. But Once A Fan Always A Fan. I Know That There Is A FREDDY V/S JASON Coming Out VERY Soon. I'm Hoping That "robert englund" Doesn't Allow Anyone Else To Play Freddy. Everything From "the nintendo scene" -2- How Freddy Dies. Is SOOOO Cool ! Then The Megamix Of Killings While The Credits Pass At The End Are Cool Too. I Definitly Recommend This One.
Rating: Summary: Its a good time waster. Review: An Ok movie worthy of watching once. Freddys Dead had a lot of good moments like the cool death scenes and the special effects, but it also had its bad moments to. The plot was stale and the the movie was very slow, to the point of total boredom through the first 45 minutes of the film. And the ending could have been a lot better in my opinion. It does tell us a lot about Freddys past, including the bolier room death. And it even went as far as to show the Actual demon possesion of Freddy that turned him in to the horribly disfigured dream stalker that he is today. Although this movie has a lot of graphic viloence it isnt as bad as 4 and 5 but still holds its own.
Rating: Summary: A horror classic! Review: Freddy's Dead, while always bashed by critics and fans and the public alike, Freddy's Dead is usually considered for Freddy fanatics. And I'm one. This was one of the films that got me into horror the way I'm am today. And despite several reviews, this is really a strong movie in my opinion. And more importantly a strong installment in the Nightmare series. It has some spectacular quotes and settings. And some very genuinely creepy moments. Although Freddy never knock's anyone off with his infamous glove, this one has really got it all : Wonderfully gloomy, dream-like atmosphere, eventfully made, genuinely creepy and Robert Englund, as always delivers a great performance as Freddy Krueger.
Rating: Summary: I'll never look at a Q-tip the same again. Review: Yeah, this was a cool movie, I've seen it a bunch of times on TV. If you were a big fan of all the other sequels, than this will be welcome to you.
Rating: Summary: Humorous, Studid, Entertaining! Review: The first time I saw this movie, I was dissapointed. I thought the movie stinked. But when I saw it for the second time, it wasn't so bad after all. It's without doubt the worst "Nightmare on elm street" movie, but it is actually entertaining. The worst and most stupid scene was of course when Freddy played with that dope kid on an old videogame. That's not appropiate in a horror film, and it's not funny. But any horror-fan got all the "Nightmare" movies in his/hers collection
Rating: Summary: More comedy than horror Review: I myself am a big fan of Elm Street films and horror films in general. And I also enjoy comedies. And I think many films that combine the two elements work quite well, like the Scream series or Peter Jackson's Braindead (A.K.A. "Dead/Alive" in the US). But despite of that, I did not find anything good in the 6th installment of the Elm Street series. In my opinion it was not a mixture of comedy and thrills, but just a mixture of lame comedy and no thrills at all. In parts 3-5, where the character of Freddy got some comedic overtones as he started to make wise-cracks while he killed, it all worked while Freddy stayed a sinister, frightening character at the same time. While you might have been in a way rooting for the bad guy, you were still a little afraid of him at the same time - and afraid for the characters he threatens. This time he's merely a stupid clown whose victims are there just to showcase his one-man comedy show, and sadly - he is not funny at all. The deaths are cartoon-like, and so are the characters. This film almost gives a bad name to the whole series, and the Grand Finale, the demise of Freddy, is more like putting him out of his misery.
Rating: Summary: really good just bad acting Review: that's the reason i gave it 4.the only person that was good was Robert Englund.he was great as freddy krueger.this one still is probably the funniest, too.this movie only got 1 star though.but with guest appearances by Roseanne Barr,Tom Arnold,AND Johnny Depp should of given it another star and a half.this movie was great so take some time to watch it.
Rating: Summary: The Finale? Review: After receiving amnesia, Springwood, Ohio's last youth finds himself with newspaper clippings concerning the Krueger family. He and his therapist goes back to Springwood to see if being there would help jog his lost memory. Upon arriving, they find a town full of grownups and the elderly... but no children. The newspaper clippings, along with "evidence" found in Springwood, convinces the young lad that he is Freddy's son.The title spoils the ending. If you haven't seen this movie, you'll be surprised to see as to who kills Freddy. The way Freddy is killed isn't very imaginative, and it seems like the creators were more interested in creating the 3D effects (seen in movie theatres), rather than developing a good plot. Overall, this movie is OK.
Rating: Summary: Funny, Scary, Suspense Review: I think that this one is very good but, it is not as good as the others. The funny part about this movie is the way he kills the kids. Like Spencer the video game with the power glove, that was funny. Carlos with the chalk board rioting. The sadest part of the movie was when Freddy died. And when John fount out that he wasn't Freddys kid. It was pretty funny how he got killed though. And the van seen where Carlos can't find his way out of the map. This movie is a must for the ultimate Freddy fan.
Rating: Summary: Do you really think that FREDDY'S DEAD? Review: This is actually a clever film if you think about it. All these peoples Dad's (and 1 mum) have been horrible to there siblings and one persons Dad is...Freddy. Not as good as the previous films but what was not too good was that Freddy was'nt scary, he never actually cuts anyone with his glove. But never the less a good film with good soundtrack. Recommended for serious Freddy fans only.
