Summary: Very Good!
Review: H20 is greatest horror movies of all-time as Jamie Lee Curtis returns after 20 years. First of all forget H4-H6 even exist. Michael tracks down Laurie. But she changed her name to Keri Tate. Very good it lives up to the original!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: BEST ONE YET!
Review: now here is one that lives up to the original.
after an awful! 5th installment, this gem comes along!
it has a typical story, but it works, because they got ppl that could act. cool beggining and end, that make u wonder...

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good but with in-excusable mistakes
Review: I hadn't seen any other Halloween besides 1 and 2 when I saw this and if my review had happened a month ago I would have a different opinion. Laurie Strode acts as if she only had one child. For some of us who have seen the middle ones know that she had a daughter Jamie who died in the 6th film. I feel that there should have been more regard to the middle films instead of a 3 minute insult to Dr. Loomis. And Laurie must be some kind of pyscho to get out of that car to go fight Michael and even then she runs away. If anybody noticed when she told her son and his girlfriend to go to that persons house down the road that was excaltly like when she told the boy and girl she was babysitting to run down the street in the first one. I thought that was kind of cool. Anyway this movie was good and the 5th best in the series

Summary: Halloween: H20 Twenty Years Later
Review: Finally I get to agree with all those who have reviewed before me and with all those critics. HALLOWEEN H20 is a roller-coaster ride and had me on the edge of my seat, even during the opening credits. Jamie Lee Curtis, who suggested this project, turns in an excellent performance, as does the supporting cast. The music score adds to the incredible tension of this sequel which is actually better than HALLOWEEN II, but of course, not as good as the first. The script is written for maximum suspense, though it does seem that it relies a little too heavily on false alarms. Otherwise, this is an amazing movie. Well crafted, well scripted, well acted, well scored, well shot and well directed. It's an excellent movie. Though the first HALLOWEEN is of course the best of the series.

Summary: Patronizing
Review: Am I the only person who found the amount of "false alarms" in this movie to be positively ridiculous? There are about 1,000 of them! Every 5 minutes someone bumps into something offscreen and .......WHOA it's just the guard, or a friend, or a trick-or-treater. So patronizing, so old, so geared toward the most simple-minded viewer. Truly hope this trend, and the Scream-ish self-reflective crap, have left us forever.

If not for the presence of the luminous Jamie Lee Curtis, I doubt anyone would have taken notice of this potboiler (actually, it feels like a TV movie, or an episode of a WB series). If there is one thing that sabotages more horror films than any other, it is the wasted opportunities. There is none of the dread and anticipation to be found in parts 1 and 2 (part 2, incidentally, is underrated and a terrific thriller). I expected more from the director, who improved upon the crappy first Friday The 13th with two solid sequels.

2 stars for Janet Leigh, Jamie, and the admittedly scary scene with the garbage disposal.

Summary: Hard to judge this as THE BEST sequal, but GREAT ether way!!
Review: Ok, to sum this up quickly, Halloween I.....the GRANDADDY of ALL slasher films. Halloween II...everything a sequal should be. Halloween 4...one of the best ever. Halloween 5, another sweeet sequal. Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers.... good long awaited sequal with interesting story. Halloween H20....non-stop scary, and verrry smart, and Halloween: Resurrection....good start, and interesting twist. Yes, all Halloween movies RULE ALL. I love them and have them all on DVD. But Halloween H20 could possibly be my favorite one of them all. Its really hard for me to judge because I love them all dearly. But ether way, H20 starts out in a town near Haddenfield (home of Myers) and the nurse Annie from the first and second films is the first character, Michael Myers has broken into her house and found the files on Laurie Strode, and goes sister hunting somewhere down the road, he is suppose to be long lost from Halloween 6 because noone ever found his body, and I dont care what ANYONE says, Halloween 4,5, and 6 DID exist before H20, Laurie Strode is in hiding, she's been hiding for at least 17 years, before she faked her death after the Halloween II film, she had a daughter, and after Laurie faked her death, her daughter Jamie Strode was left all alone and adopted by the Lloyd's. Jamie Lloyd (Laurie's daughter) finally was killed in the awesome 6th installment. Anyway, Michael cleverly finds his sister, and stalks her till he finally comes face to face with her after killing two of her students (shes a teacher) and chasing her son and his girfriend. After killing Laurie's boyfriend, Laurie gets her son and his girl to safety, and locks the gate behind them, locking her and Michael in the academy, for the final shodown. She decides its now or never, the tables turn as she comes after him! And the ending is very surprising (dont wanna spoil it for you!) And Halloween: Resurrection explains what REALLY happened as the end of H20. The Halloween series always has 3 GREAT elements, Suspense, Thrills, and a WONDERFUL Story. Halloween III doesnt count because its not a Michael Myers movie. It stinks. But anyway, dont miss out on any of the Halloween movies, they are the best horror films EVER! LONG LIVE MICHAEL MYERS!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It's decent.
Review: I'm sort of "blah" about this film. I don't hate it, but I don't particularly like it. I suppose it's alright, but it's definitely a Scream ripoff and designed to appeal to the mainstream. Jamie Lee Curtis returns, which is a highlight, though the absence of the late Donald Pleasance as Dr. Loomis is greatly felt.
