Summary: I have enjoyed that movie so much.
Review: I like dogs and puppies so I really enjoyed that movie. It was comedy and funny and also sad when the puppies were stolen. I would really like to see that movie again. Can I see that movie on internet?

Summary: Awesome movie..
Review: I'm a Disney movie collector, and I am glad they finally released this movie. My daughter loves this movie... A MUST for your collection.....

Summary: Just a really good movie!
Review: This is a great movie for kids...and adults. We have most of the Disney movies but this is one that my youngest (age 3) will watch over and over. Cruella de Ville is just the villian of all villians. For people who complain about all of the violence in movies today (even kids' movies), this has a very minimal amount of violence. It also has a happy ending which is nice for young children to see in a movie. It's just a really good movie. Why else would they do a re-make with real people?

Summary: Leonard...You're Way Off
Review: The Review above discusses the inferior remake. There's no substitute for the original Cruella de Ville! Slacker henchmen, funny supporting animals & a moving & emotional story help rank this among Disney's best! Even though it loses a bit in translation, it remains a classic.

Summary: 101 Dalmatians Has Been Re-Born!
Review: While the live action version doesen't have the same charisma & spark as Disney's classic it still is perfectly made. I have to join with everybody when I say that the casting of Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil was nothing short of genius. She brings Cruella to life in frightening form, acting with an Acadamy Award winning portrayal of Disney's most famous villan. Jeff Daniels also gives a good performance as Rodger, Pongo's proud owner & Joely Richardson's brillant portrayal of Anita nearly steals the show from the villianous Close while Joan Plowright turns Nanny into a classic Disney character. The dalmatians as well as the rest of the canine cast prevail proving many wrong when they said the dog performances would screw this one up.

But for the slap-stick comedic relief the kids feel has to be alive in the film isn't left out. Cruella's bumbaling sidekicks, Horace & Jasper are not left behind & many of their hilarious antics will have your kids rolling.

Summary: CORNY!
Review: One of the WORST films by Disney is this "101 Dalmations", which is a live-action version of the original cartoon movie & is nowhere near as good. All it was is just a retelling of the story obviously, but very little excitement and fun, bad acting and cheesy, cheesy, cheesy special effects. (not to mention the jokes sucked!) It is also TOO short! They could've added in more and it would've been better but it all ended too soon. Disney is really going downhill with these sequels and remakes and I suggest that they STOP now!! How anybody could like this film is beyond me! This is the stupidest, crappiest movie remake ever! Save your money and buy the original cartoon version instead cause it's 100% better than this smelly pile of dog crap! Your kids will also like it more.

Summary: Better Than Expected
Review: This movie surprised me. I had expected the Disney people to give us the same load of hidden sex and I felt for sure Glenn Close would have demanded extra screen time ... but I was pleasantly disappointed on both counts.

There is absolutely no sexy stuff in this movie, and I wondered if maybe the usual guys at Disney let this one slip through the cracks. It was great. And Glenn Close took her screen time ... and not one second more. And she did a great job too, being very funny and very camp as Cruella DeVil. Also, I'm guessing that the cast had fun together. It just seemed that way.

A couple other things worth mentioning ... The movie itself was very well thought through (as far as plausibility is concerned) and it is also very well carried off, which must have been difficult because so many animals were involved. Also, the lady who played Jeff Daniels' wife was excellent. I mean, her character was excellent ... just a nice lady. No sexy stuff, no derogatory comments to or about men, and no self absorbed words or actions. Just a nice lady. And again, I asked myself ... what has happened to the usual band of idiots at Disney? Were they on vacation?

But this is a great movie for everyone.

Summary: CORNY!
Review: We purchased the cartoon version at our first opportunity, and this has been a heavily watched movie by our kids, especially when they were pre-kindergarten. This is still my 6 year old daughters favorite movie and the family voted it #8 of 41. Not quite up to the production standards of other Disney movies, this one was popular with all 5 children and is very watchable with repeat viewings. It narrowly beat out Fox and the hound for the 8th spot.

Cruella De Vil sees the 15 puppies of Pongo and Perdita and decides that she needs to make a polka dot Dalmatian coat with their fur. Her henchmen kidnap 86 puppies from around London and with these 15 she has 101. Pongo and Perdita call upon their doggie friend to search for the lost pups in hopes of engineering a rescue.
We had a lot of fun by gathering the family together to rank the 41 Disney movies we have that include some cartoon work. All the kids, ages 6 to 27, participated along with mother and dad. Peter Pan is no Codfish, we rank it #2. Lion King was selected number 1 of the 41 as the family favorite, but narrowly. Peter Pan was 2. Pete's Dragon 3, Beauty & the beast 4, Sleeping Beauty 5, Snow White 6 and Robin hood 7. These 7 movies all received a 5 star rating from us and complete our magnificent 7.

Summary: The Best
Review: I admire this movie for the cruelness and wickedness of Cruella. The best example of this is when she tries but fails to buy the puppies from Anita and Roger. So she sends Horace and Jasper to steal them. Now it's a wild chase to return the puppies to their home. It's an action-packed and exciting movie. I also recommend 102 Dalmatians.
