Summary: Don't watch
Review: The movie was very boring. The chase after the remote control car went on for about fifteen minuits! Its confusing too.I think that the makers of it just wanted to do the part with the boby traps. On the other hand it is very funny.

Summary: This one just ruined the whole entire series
Review: the series would have been fine if they wouldn't have made this one. it's not even close to what 1 and 2 were! and what now? they made a 4th one?! i don't know about you guys but i thought the movie sucked big time. they could have put Macaulay Culkin in this one! he only would have been about 11 or 12 if he would have played in it.

Summary: This was the worst movie I've ever seen
Review: No offense Alex but you will never be as good as Macualay Culkin is. He has that special kind of touch on people that you will never have. Actually there was no point in making this movie some things you just need to leave alone and Home Alone Is one of them. I own both 1 and 2 of this well saga now. And there was no point to make Home Alone 4 either. Macualay Culkin is a classic and there will never be another boy with his touch.

Summary: this movie is not at my home....alone or otherwise.
Review: Give me a break!!!! Hollywood just has to make the buck streatch as much as it can. I thought the tricks this kid playes on these people were just a mix of the first two that our hero, that we know and love, did. It was the same ol stuff different day. I loved the first two. I think that the second one was the better than the first one, by a hair. They both have warm feelings associated with the holiday spirit. I got this movie for my father because he likes the fisrt two. All the stuff that Keven did to the criminals. I watched the first, say 30 min of the film and had to walk away. I usually try to give movies the benifit of the doubt. BUT, this one was down right dumb!!! I would recommend getting the first 2 and skip this one.

Summary: A Modern Comedic Masterpiece
Review: If you have not yet seen this film, I strongly encourage you to stop reading this review and run -- don't walk -- to the nearest video store to purchase a copy.

I recently had the pleasure of viewing this cinematic masterpiece in its entirety (on cable television). The uninformed may consider this film inferior to the first two, because it doesn't feature the endearing young Macaulay Culkin (and lovable rogues Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern). However, in my humble opinion, the plot, the pranks, and the lovable Alex D. Linz quickly will have viewers asking "Macaulay who?"

Left to his own devices, the fiendishly clever young Alex really puts these "Eurotrash" spies through the ringer. The sadistic pranks are every bit as good (if not better) than in the previous two Home Alone films. At the end of the day, the FBI is lucky to have Alex (and his affable parrot) on its side, as the international criminals -- having literally taken a beating -- are brought to justice.

Viewers may also be surprised to learn that, in an early high-water mark performance, actress Scarlett Johansson (Lost in Translation) appears as Alex's sister.

Summary: Better Than The First Two!
Review: People are complaining because this film does not feature the original Macaulay Culkin, but that doesn't bother me at all. I don't care that much for originals, all I want is a good movie. I think Alex does a perfectly fine job. The crooks are smarter, the booby traps are better, and the plot line is more complex. Though it was released five years after Home Alone 2, it only goes to show that the series is still strong (until 2002, that is, when Home Alone 4 came out). This film is highly recommended.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I'll be honest, i didn't expect much considering I missed Home Alone 2, but this movie is a cut above the rest. Macaulay Culkin looks great in this movie. I mean, he still looks like he's 9! That's pretty amazing. There's a scene in here where Macaulay shoots off this guys head with a bee-bee gun. Pretty bloody. He overdoses on ritalin and goes through this whole drug trip where he thinks he's some soldier in Vietnam. Powerful yet reinforces family values. Also, if you're a newcomer to the Home Alone series I recommend watching it in the following order: 2,3,1. Unless it's Police Academy then I would watch it: 4,5,3,1,7. see you, tarun

Summary: This is NOT the Home Alone I remeber.
Review: First of all the plot is horrible. It wasen't even clear if it took place on Christmas! Terrorist, a talking parrot, an R/C car with a mounted camera and unlimited range, give me a break!
Alex has nothing on the previous acter, he just isn't the smart mouthed "baby in the family" as Macaulay Culkin was. The family had none of the orginal family's disfunctional sarcasm.
Such as older brother Buzz, and cheap Uncle Frank. This movie isn't suited for anyone over 8 years old. The Home Alone series ended with "Lost in New York".

Summary: Home Alone 3 is better than 1 and 2
Review: I was little sceptical in watching Home Alone 3. Because the reviews and ratings at amazon.com were not as good in comparison to the previous two movies.

However, I enjoyed it even more than the earlier ones.

It moves at a fast pace. It is fresh. New kid. New villains. High tech Gadgets. What is common is that the villains have a tough time here too.

If you have liked the previous two movies, there is no reason why you should not like this one.
