Summary: Somehow I think Arnold does a better job in action movies...
Review: Arnold Schwarzenegger is a talented actor in deed, but his performances in The Terminator, Predator, The Running Man, and Total Recall prove that his real talent goes for action movies. Sure he can be funny at times, and he really wanted to do comedian work. But...I think he is much better at what he currently does as an actor: Be the BAD GUY.

Summary: Perhaps it might make you think about the Christmas
Review: The idea behind this movie is what is interesting enough to make it worthwhile viewing. How far will we go to get a present for someone we love? And would it have been better to drop the pursuit of a toy and instead spend some time with the child? Time that he craves, much more than a toy that will end up in a garage sale in 3 years. Is Christmas all about the crazy rush to spend money we don't have to impress people we rarely see because we are too busy making money to buy them presents that they do not really need or want? Is it? Something to think about as you watch this movie, preferably with someone you do care about.

Summary: WORST MOVIE EVER (next to "Suburban Commando")
Review: Oh my God, this film was really bad. I'm sorry, Arnold just can't play comedic roles. The ending is especially horrible, because Arnold is trying to hide his true identity from his son by dressing up as a superhero. The retard was wearing a see-through mask with his costume. Like an 8 year old kid can't distinguish his dad from Blasto-Man. And it's not like Arnold has an Austrian accent or anything. It is your sworn duty as a human being to avoid this movie at all costs.

Summary: Jingle All The Way
Review: Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this hilaious holiday comedy as a father desperate to buy that must-have Christmas toy during a frantic last-minute shopping spree on Christmas eve. Howard Langston (Schwarzeneger)has promised his young son a Turbo Man action figure for Chrismas, unaware it's the season's hottest-selling toy. And so begins a frenzied quest that pits Howard against a stressed-out mailman (Sinbad),a sleazy Santa impersonator (James Belushi) and every other harried parent in town, in "the best holiday family film in years" (Don Stotter,Enterainment Time-Out)

Summary: Fun all the way !!
Review: This is one excellent and funny piece of entertainment. I still can't believe it was a flop during its theatrical run. Arnold, Sinbad, James Belushi and the late Phil Hartman all are wonderful in this highly entertaining film. Probably this is the best Arnold's non action movie. The DVD itself is OK, the picture quality is pretty good and the Dolby 5.1 is OK. Highly recommended DVD as you can watch it over and over again.

Summary: Good film
Review: I personally liked this film and thought it was funny and charming.Schwarzenegger is actually quite funny as the father who is desperately trying to find the hottest christmas toy on the market on christmas eve for his son(Jake Lloyd). And sinbad is hystericall as a bizarre mailman also on a hunt to find this toy for his kid.Although the story is kind of thin this film is quite entertaining mainly due to Schwarzenegger's performance.

Summary: True to Life
Review: I believe this is one of the best Christmas movies around, along with Christmas Vacation and It's a wonderful Life. The premise of this movie is the same as National Lampoons Christmas Vacation in how it makes light of the crazy things that we do around the holidays. If you are a parent with kids, then you have lived this movie. This movie is about the things we parents do to try to make our children happy on Christmas, and that is what makes this such a fun movie. The fact that it makes fun of people trying to get all the silly things that kids want and are in short supply, like the Elmo, Cabbage Patch dolls, and now the Playstation 2. If you have ever been in this situation you'll find this movie hillarious, if not you just won't get it.

Summary: Badly misunderstood
Review: I saw this movie accidentally -- we were going to watch something recorded, and this was on TV when we switched on, and we ended up seeing it instead.

Look, if you view this as a straight comedy, it's stupid. But then, it's stupid to view it as a straight comedy. It's an absolutely brilliant parody on modern society and commercialism (and kudos to the writers, as another reviewer pointed out, for dropping the cynicism at exactly the right point).

Perfect for fans of parody. Fans of meaningless slapstick, however, may totally miss the point. At least, these reviews seem to suggest they do.
