Summary: I am in love with the Baby Einstein DVDs!
Review: My mother-in-law was the first to introduce us to Baby Mozart. Immediately, my two-and-a-half month old was transfixed by the music and images on the DVD. For Christmas, she purchased the entire collection of Baby Einstein DVDs for my son and he has been enjoying them ever since. At five months, he will sit and watch these DVDs for considerable lengths of time -- a god-send when I need a break to grab a shower or do the dishes. While these DVDs afford me a great deal of convenience, the thing that I love the most about them is the fact that they were created as developmental media for infants and toddlers. I know that my son is only five months old, but I love being able to introduce him to materials that he will enjoy while simultaneoulsly stimulating his mind even at this early age! These DVDs make a great gift and I plan to give Baby Einstein whenever I attend baby showers in the future.

Summary: For babies under 18 months
Review: I bought this video for my 20 month old because of the great success we had with the Baby Newton video. However, the Baby Mozart video is clearly targeting younger kids than the Baby Newton Video. For example, it shows a hand slowly putting rings on a peg like it is difficult(something 18 months old can do with ease). It shows prolonged shots of drops falling and balls turning and stills of fruit, that would be interesting to a child trapped in a swing but not to an active 20 month old. For older toddlers, get Baby Newton. It is fast-paced, full of things that are fun to learn the names of (jelly-fish, checkered flag, suitcase), and interesting for adults and toddlers to watch together.

Summary: Total Lifesaver!!!
Review: My son who is two months old is a very fussy baby and gets bored very easily. He LOVES these DVDS, he loves to sit and look at the colors and listen to the music. It is actually the only thing that keeps him content. If you have a fussy baby I recommend you try these. They are EXCELLENT!!!!

Summary: Wow!
Review: These DVD's are incredible! They are a must have! My son had been watching them since he was 1 month old and he loves it! We can't get him to laugh like a Baby Einstein video!

Summary: Interesting for kids older than two!
Review: My six year old will still ask to watch this video occasionally and my two year old loves it as well. They calm down and really focus on the effect of the combination of the music and the visual images. This is definitely not one you are going to play once and sell to the used record store. By the way, if your baby is scared of the "bleh" dragon, don't worry, he'll outgrow it!

Summary: A Must-Have !
Review: I bought this DVD for my baby when he was 9 months old. He liked it right away. He would stay quiet and watch it from beginning to end, and he's not the type of kid who will stay put.

Now at 16 months old, he seems to like it more and more. He makes it his daily routine to watch this DVD. He even 'instructs' me to put it on. If I don't follow his 'order', he'll cry and yell until I put it on. That's how much he likes this DVD !

Summary: Good but short
Review: My biggest problem with the Baby Einstein set is that they are all very short. Repeat play is great, but gets on my nerves after a while. Very educational and engaging, however, while they are running.

Summary: A total let down
Review: I bought the DVD after reading reviews about it. My 22 month old hates the DVD and did not watch even 10 minutes of it. The hand held puppets put him off and scared him, especially when they stuck out their tongues and wiggled about. My toddler calls the handheld toys piggy' and if I ask him if he wants to watch the Piggy DVD, its a emphatic NO.

They should have used better animations. I bought Baby Van Gogh and Mozart and we have not watched either of them fully. A total waste of money. Check out the DVD's before you buy, its not for everyone.

Summary: We LOVE the whole series
Review: We are TOTALLY 'on board' with this entire "Baby Einstein" collection.. My son LOVES these DVD's... he gets so excited when he sees the introduction and stays interested the whole way through.. The actual video is simple.. puppets, spinning things, simple toys and interesting patterns-- that's what makes the video so interesting to babies.. We started with Enstein and Bach of this series when he was just 3 months old... Mozart is the latest addition, and just like with the other DVD's in the collection, he is engaged and focused for the whole show. He's now 5 months old and the Baby series is a part of our daily routine.. We now have 5 of the DVD's and can't wait to get more... It has everything babies love-- simplicity and repetition... music and movement... GREAT product...
