Summary: This is a wonderful video
Review: I would recommend this DVD to anybody that has a young child. My son has been watching this since he was a few months old, and still loves it. He is now one year old and will sit and watch the whole half-hour without leaving the TV.

Summary: Was a little disappointed...
Review: My 15 month old daughter is a big fan of the Sesame Street (in particular, Elmo) movies, however she was very disinterested with this one. First of all, I was under the impression that this was going to be an Elmo/Zoe filled DVD (considering they are featured on the cover the way they are). However, they barely appeared in this. In addition, there was very little to no fresh material here. It was all old clips from my own youth of watching Sesame Street. Also, very little of it was the Muppet/Sesame Street characters, as most of it was sketch/cartoon sequences.

In defense of this particular DVD, I will say that if it's the alphabet you are interested in, that's really what you're going to get with this. Letters are continuously repeated and used in examples. And in true Sesame Street fashion, there are a few catchy tunes that will have you memorizing in no time. You can't really lose with the lesson here...it's never too early to introduce learning (especially a staple like the alphabet).

For a little one who enjoys bright imagery, fast-paced movies, I would not recommend this movie. For a preschooler who is anxious about learning the alphabet and has a good attention span, this one might work for you.

Summary: Better than I expected
Review: My 17-month old son loves this DVD. He dances and laughs and squeals through the entire 30-minute run. And then he'll ask me to play it again...and again...and again. He cries when I tell him it's time to do something else. I'm really impressed with the music, everything from Little Richard to jazz saxophone and funk bass guitar. Different rhythms, timing, and beat. The art's great, too. The producers deserve big kudos.

I bought three other DVDs at the same time, all of which my son walks away from. They're much more sedate than Alphabet Jungle; maybe he'll like them when he's a few months older: Sesame Street 123 Count With Me, Sesame Street Kids' Favorite Songs, and Bear in the Big Blue House.

Summary: A must see for 2 & 3 year olds!
Review: My 2 year old sings the theme song from this movie every day.He loves saying the alphabet and recognizes all of the letters! Ithink this video played a big part in making him excited about learning his letters.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great tool for mastering the alphabet
Review: My 2 year old son, Dairen watches this video only once a day. He has learned letter grouping (ABCD, LMNOP...etc.)and numerous letter recognition within only a month of viewing. I'm actually amazed how fast toddlers can learn - especially when excellent learning aids, such as this, are used.
Now, anytime he sees a letter on television, on a book, on a sign or even license plates he "reads" the letter out loud.

Highly recommended for 24 mos. old children!

Summary: A classic for a new generation
Review: My son is 2 years old, and he loves this video. He can watch it over and over. Better yet, hearing it over and over doesn't drive Mommy and Daddy nuts like some videos do. This is a collection of vintage Sesame Street short cartoons about letters, strung together to show the whole alphabet. So while my boy gets to learn his letters, I get to stroll down memory lane and remember these bits I used to see when I was a kid!

Summary: Awsome
Review: One of the best alphabet video's ever! Very educational and most importantly holds little one's attention! A definate must for those learning their ABC's!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great musical alphabet teaching fun!
Review: Our son learned his alphabet before he was two with the help of this video.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: My son isn't even 2 1/2 and he knows the whole alphabet
Review: Thanks in part to Elmo and this tape. It goes over each letter individually and has a "song" for each one (except for the elusive "Z" for Zoe). He watches it over and over, and if you can stomach that much repetitive Elmo, it's truly educational for little ones.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very Disappointing
Review: The cover and description lead you to believe that this is a Zoe and Elmo video, however they are barely in it and my daughter lost interest very quickly.
