Summary: Cute and Fun!
Review: The 2nd DVD in a wonderful series. Pioneer did a great job releasing this. The menus are eye-catching and VERY navigatable. The picture quality is perfect (unlike the Eva release...) and sound is crisp.

This DVD covers episodes 5-8, shown chronologically *a plus* and in their original uncut form. The cards caught in these episodes include the jump, the illusion, the silent, and the thunder. Some of the character relationships may be a little bit too liberal for some parents, but it is generally light-hearted. Card Captor Sakura is a fun, entertaining burst of sugar and will delight fans of shoujo anime!

Summary: Not Nelvana, oh, no! Far better indeed...
Review: The CCS series, so slaughtered in America, continues it's uncut, subtitled glory on DVD! It contains four episodes, including an introduction to a new character- Syaoran Li! These episodes are just as cute as the four on the first DVD. Sure took a long time to come out, or at least that's how it feels. Anyway, you can't go wrong with this if your a fan of shoujo anime! This is better than Nelvana's garbage by a long shot. You can't even tell it's the same show! Forget Cardcaptors, go CardCaptor Sakura!

Summary: Sakura Everlasting Memoriers
Review: the dvd arrived on time and in good condition BUT, the movie is in Japaneese there is no way for my daughter to understand it. That should have been made CLEARER in the discription of the item. Now i feel that i have wasted my money.

Summary: Love it!
Review: The manga for Cardcaptors is beautifully drawn, and its gone right into the anime as well :-) I just LOVE this series. The story is cute and funny, the characters are cool and beautifully drawn as well as the scenes with the clow cards. Cardcaptors is one of the best anime ever! (and Syaroran is so cool!)

Summary: Sakura's Adventures Continue
Review: The second volume in the Cardcaptor Sakura series, Everlasting Memories, contains episodes 5 through 8 continuing the story of ten-year old Sakura as she searches for the scattered Clow cards, a magical Tarot-like deck where each card centers around a specific power or talent. Not to be confused with the Warner Brother's Cardcaptors cartoon series, this DVD is the original, uncut Japanese release with English subtitles, the way Japanese anime should be viewed and enjoyed.

Backed by a beautiful musical soundtrack, the stories include a toy shop with possessed plush animals, a Clow card masquerading as Sakura's late mother, a Clow card inhabiting a picture in the local art gallery and the appearance of a rival who has his own plans for the Clow cards.

Parents should be aware that there is a PG-13 rating on the DVD because the need to watch subtitles requires good reading and comprehension skills. There is also some mild profanity.

One benefit to the Cardcaptor Sakura series seldom mentioned is its capability as an attractive adjunct to any Japanese language program. My three sons have already picked up some Japanese idioms and words pronounced correctly. An enterprising writer could profit by writing and publishing a companion study guide to Japanese language and culture using the Cardcaptor Sakura series as its focus.

Summary: "I fell in love with love...."
Review: These four episodes were the first I have owened of the CCS(Cardcaptor Sakura) seires.

The very first one I saw was "Sakura, Panda, and the cute shop." Before the title, we see a stuffed panda(Some say horred looking, but I call super kawaii![cute]) I won't give it away, but an old saying comes to mind here: "Do not judge a book by it's cover...." as Sakura learns this with kawaii Kero-chan, "Jump" attacks them! Dude, not what I call a cute plush toy. Think a weird pink Pikachu, with evil green eyes and sharp teath^_^'! Card captured: The Jump.

The seconed episode started to make me cry,(sniffle)just the title made me teary, "Sakura and the memory of her Mother." It begins innocntly with Naoko(Nikki in America)telling of a "ghost" in the woods. She invites her friends(including a very freaked out Sakura) on a "ghost hunt". Sakura goes back that night to find the "ghost", and finds insted her dead mother, Nadesiko(Natasha in America)Her "spirt" then leads her off the cliff, where Yukito has her delivered into his arms. The next night, as Skaura runs to her mother's "spirt" she remembers Yukito's words, and identifes it as "The Ilusion" The next day, Touya(Tori in America)reads the paper as Sakura delivers a birthday present to her mother's picture. As he looks up,he is shocked. There, floating above Sakura, is Nadesiko. She was worried about Sakura, and had come to watch over her again.(Sniffle, loud wailing, and a box of tishues: "AWWWWW!!!")Clow Card captured: The Ilusion.

The 3rd episode is called "Sakura's first chalange as a thief" On an outing with her class to the museum, Sakura notes something strange with a painting that a little kid wants to "repare". She comes back that night and goes in and finds the same kid who was in the museum that day.(They scare the heck out of him which is SOOOO funny!!)It turns out that the kid's father painted it of him and someone had "ruined" it. As the kid gets caught by a gurd, Sakura and Tomoyo(Madison in America) help him escape, and catch the "mysterious figure" in the painting, and reveal that the kid is not what he seeems.... As our heroine and friends leave, a mystious figure looms on the top tower saying, "I sence a Clow Card." Clow Card captured: The Silent.

The fourth, and final episode is called "Sakura's rival appers! " Sakura is late for school again!(A habit that I have also^_^')She can't help it though, when a mystirious dream has a new figure in it, a mysterious boy.... As she gets to school that day, she is just her genki(happy)self for her crush, Yukito, gave her a candy on the way to school. Nothing can ruin her good mood until He appears. Li Shoyron (OK, get this right: Li is NOT his first name!) is a new student in class, and from the looks of it, frightens the heck out of Sakura, with pirceing srairs all day. His real intentions become knowen at recess. HE WANTS THE CLOW CARDS! He tries to forcefuly take them from Sakura, when big brother comes to the rescue. That night, Sakura and Tomoyo go after another Clow card, only to find that Shoyron has gotten there first. He insults Sakura for not knowing anything about Clow magic, and then he insults Kero for being so lazy, and letting the cards get loose. In all, it is a very bad day for Sakura, and it leaves her Cardcaptor pride dwindling o_o' Clow Card caught: The Thunder.

It is a very kawaii DVD, and I recomend it to the people that haven't seen the original. These episodes just made me cry....four of the greatest Animie episodes I have seen. It has the original opining theme song "Catch you, Catch Me" which, along with the intro is very kawaii! Sakura's outfit reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake! It also has the original ending theme, "Groovy" and exit. It also has "Leave it to Kero-chan!" and "Kero-chan check" kawaii little end segments feturing the ever so kawaii Kero-chan!!!

I highly recomend it, for it's great quality, and style. Sakura has a magic way of making your heart feel, and she inchants us all with her little qurks. I give it three out of two thumbs up, and six out of five stars!

Honana!!! (See you later!!!)

Summary: Cardcaptor Sakura: an otake's dream!
Review: This DVD is just awesome! It can be watched with or without subtitles. It has the beginning and end songs at the end of each episode, and even has a bonus where Kero gives his commmentary about Sakura's clothes. It's neat to hear all of the character's voices (Kero has the cutest voice ever!) I recommend this DVD to anyone! For all you CCS fans, this DVD has it all!

Summary: 10 times better than the dubbed counterpart
Review: This is a great show about a young 4th grader named Sakura Kinomoto. She opened a book and accidentally let loose all the magical cards. Now, with the help of the Guardian beast Kero-chan and some friends, she is off to find them.

That's the basic storyline. Simple? Hardly. Aside from the basic plot, the show also shows character development...a thing the dubbed version, Cardcaptors (Cardcraptors) lacks. The characters grow and change throughout the show, providing a great source of entertainment that's easy to get hooked on. So, whether as a gift or just something to pass the time, I highly reccomend Cardcaptor Sakura.

Summary: Cardcaptors!
Review: This is video is so cool! I really mean it! The only thing is this. I dont know why Nelvana cut off some parts on Cardcaptors! Its horrible but this video is sweet! OK now, there must be a perfectly logical explanation why I like this? Well, these are my favorites videos! Thats for sure. This is what its about.
Powers Ploy: Sakura's class goes on a field trip to the zoo. But theres one single problem. The Power card! Almost everything is going wrong. As Sakura found the Power card, she had to do one thing. She has to play tug-o-war and see who wins. Will Sakura win?
The New Rival: There is a new student named Meilin Rae! Guess what? Thats one of Li's family members! Later on a card shows up named the Fight! Meilin uses her technique skills and fights the Fight card. Meilin was a strong person but she couldnt handle it anymore till Li showed up...
Double-Edged Sword: Sakura and her friends Madison and Rita went to the store after school and buyed some necklaces. Then when they went to Sakura's house, all of a sudden the necklace Rita bought was actually a card! Its called the Sword. Now the Sword took control of Rita. Sakura had to do something to capture the Sword card and make everything back to normal. But the only thing is she doesnt want to hurt Rita. So, Sakura took her key, said the words and finally she used the Illusion. After that she captured it.
These episodes are the bomb!:) This is worth your money. I think so.
