Summary: What a waste of time!
Review: This product was a total waste of money and time, the actual rating this movie diserves is a 0 but that was not an option, and I have oddphobia, which means I am afraid of odd numbers so I gave it a 2, if you like war movies then you will love "booty call" but dont watch "catch-22" unless you are supposed to read the book for a school project or something, in which case you should watch the movie because the book is worse. but hey dont listen to me go watch it for yourself, and if you are some kind of retard who likes to read dumb @$$ reviews then go read the book for your self. oh yea! VOTE NADER!

Summary: really interesting film
Review: This was a good film. It really draws the viewer in and gets it's point across about the insanity of war. It is the acting in this film more than anything else which holds it together and makes this satire well worth your time to see.

Summary: Bad adaptation from book
Review: To truly understand why the movie is bad, you have to read the book. The theme is completely lost in this movie. The adaptation is too literal and the sequence was altered where it shouldn't have. However I DO recommend the book which is amazing.

Summary: Catch 22
Review: When i first heard that Catch 22 had been turned into a movie, I greatly anticipated viewing it. The book by Joseph Heller was the most movingly influential book that I have ever read, and I hardly expected the viedeo to live up to it. However, I was delighted to discover that it shared not only the ironies and symbolism of the book, but added another level due to the incredible performances by Alan Arkin and others that made it absolutely incredible. I highly recomend buying this movie, especially for anybody who has lived through an era where there was a war , endorsed by everybody who could sit back and watch it happen knowing that it was as far from them as the nation of Vietnam or Korea, and protested by everybody who was forced to serve an unforgiving government and an unloving army.
