Summary: Wishbone Ash Revitalized
Review: This is a great show with good video and sound production. It's very exciting to watch. The only original member is, my favorite, Mr. Andy Powell. However, Ben Granfelt is a great addition on guitar, Bob Skeat is great on bass, and Ray Westin is perfect on drums. Overall the strongest Wishbone Ash line-up in quite a few years.

The DVD is mostly from a recent soldout show in London at a medium sized venue. There are also scenes from a much larger show at a huge festival they played recently with the same line-up. The DVD cuts from scenes at the club to scenes at the outdoor festival. But all the music is from the club venue. It's visually interesting, but some of the scenes seem geared towards people with short attention spans. It's a bit like watching an MTV video where no scene lasts more than a second or two. That may be an exageration, but they do jump from different camera angles and back & forth between two shows a bit much for my taste.

The second disc contains all the orignal members from a show in 1989. It's worth watching, however, I feel the newer line-up's show has a bit more energy. Of course they don't quite reach the heights of the original band in there heyday, the early 1970's. No line-up has touched the energy and creativity of the orininal line-up. They were IMO the best line-up and I'd love to see footage of that. But this time the new guys outshine the originals. Of course we wouldn't even be talking about Wishbone Ash if it hadn't been for the original lads. Rock On!!!!!!!!!
