Summary: Whatever It Takes...Whatever its says? hmmmmmm :-)
Review: I am a 22 year old male..and all these teen flicks are absolutely wonderful...they have so much heart in them if you actually read into the movie rather then just sit there and watch the eye candy. I loved this movie...It was Marvelous..It was Funny and it was Witty..... a Winning combination.

Summary: Cute
Review: I really liked this film. THe heart throb Shane West protrays a main character Ryan, or Bryan Ryan. He has his heart set on the beautiful Jodi Lyn who is your typical high school snob.

Marla and James try to "Get something" happening, but it all fails. The movie incorporates many funny parts along with the smooth plot, and the ending sets happy "I told you so's"

The teenage audiances will enjoy the quick movie.

Summary: Do "Whatever It Takes" to see this movie!
Review: I really though this movie was cute and fun. The young new talent in this moie is incredible. Marla Sokoloff, Shane West, and Colin Hanks are all names to remember. Colin Hanks is my favorite because I thought he was very funny. A great date movie for teens!

Summary: Hardly a decent teen flick
Review: I went and saw this movie opening day because I am just a huge fan of the teen romantic-comedy genre. However, from beginning to end, this movie does nothing but disappoint.

Right from the onset, we know where this movie is going. It tries to lead the audience to believe one thing, but anyone who's not retarded (and probably even those who are) will not be fooled.

That fact wouldn't be so bad if the characters weren't so annoying. While there are a few notable exceptions (Shane West and Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), every single character in the film was lame-brained and thouroughly one-dimensional. Many of them were thrown in simply to provide a few idiotic one-liners and keep up the cliche status quo.

Even the fantastic performance of Shane West (who, frankly, I would like to see more of as he is MUCH better than recent teen male stars like the unbelievably wooden Freddy Prinze Jr.) could not save this one--which is the biggest disappointment of them all. Talent like his should not be wasted on such garbage.

Ultimately, however, the movie suffers because of its ending. The entire thing could have been saved had it been for a decent ending, but none was provided. It was quick and uninteresting. There was no set-up. The movie played as if it knew that the audience was tired of this piece of trash and wanted to leave the theater as soon as possible. No resolution was provided to any character, making the flick that much less interesting.

"Whatever it Takes" truly is an insult to the intelligences of the youth it draws. Frankly, I would easily recommend movies like "Can't Hardly Wait" and "Never Been Kissed" for the same type of movie only done correctly. Please, for the sake of your own sanity, avoid this one at all costs.

Summary: Hilarious and Romantic!
Review: I went and saw this movie to pass some time on a boring Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised. After the original viewing I went to see two more times, once with my best friend and once with my girlfriend. Both guests that I brought thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly reccomended!

Summary: Surprisingly good
Review: I went into the theatre expecting another stupid, teen pumped, lame script, poor acting, pathetic story. I was baffeled. Halfway through the movie, I realized I was enjoying it. The acting was very impressive. It had a clear message and heartwarming story. Chock full of funny oneliners and comedical situations. However, it loses points because of a mediocre, rushed ending. The ending was effective but unelaborate and short lived. Overall, this was a great movie that had me chuckling throughout. I recommend you go see this one. It's worth the admission price.

Summary: Whatever it Takes Review
Review: I would recommend this movie despite the abrupt ending. It is humourous. I think that the best character is Floyd (Aaron Sturtevant, Aka. Aaron Paul) because he adds the humour and fun to the movie to set it apart from from any generic, romantic Teen flick.
