Summary: Refreshingly Different Yet True to the Original
Review: A few years after the end of Batman: The Animated Series, I saw an ad for a new series that featured a new Batman in a future Gotham City. And, horrors - Bruce Wayne/Batman was an OLD MAN, unrecognizable from the form BTAS fans are accustomed to. I refused to watch it, thinking it was kind of a travesty.

But when I mentioned my concerns to a friend, he said it was good. So I checked it out, and am so glad I did. BB is the continuation of the Dark Knight and the city he protects. Bruce Wayne has become quite old, and even more stubborn. Alfred has passed away, so the only companion for the old man is a dog, Ace. Ace is no ordinary dog. I happen to remember buying the comic when Ace was re-introduced in the 1990's. Ace is Wayne's intelligent guardian and helper. Bruce Wayne is secluded in his manor, all the memoribilia of his crime-fighting days lovingly displayed in the now unused Batcave. Barbara Gordon, the former Batgirl, is now the aging commissioner of police, taking her father's former position. The elder Gordon has also passed away.

Enter Terry McGinnis. A brash, handsome young man with the same black hair and blue eyes as his predecessors, he stumbles upon Wayne and his secret. Wayne and McGinnis clash, and through a touching series of events and flashbacks, there is a new Batman, with the original Batman at the helm.

Batman Beyond is proof that Batman lives, that his legacy is enduring and what he stands for will last forever, even if he will not. Criminals will still look up at the night sky and shudder with fear just by hearing his name.

Summary: Batman Beyond!
Review: At first I was worried about this new Batman, considering they weren't going to use Dick Greyson or even Tim Drake. However, Terry McGinnis has proven that he is a capable addition to the Bat-Family. The story here shows both an older Bruce Wayne and younger Terry facing the reality that you can never go back to the way things were. For any Bat-Fans, I highly recommend this movie

Summary: Batman Beyond is FANTASTIC!
Review: Batman Beyond is a fabulous 41 minute thrill ride! For a cartoon, this is a very well done movie and show as well. The plot and writing are incredible and the characters are AWESOME! Terry McGinnis is a great Batman and its good to see Bruce Wayne still keeping Gotham City safe from the forces of evil(even if he is 75 years old).

The Jokerz, Derek Powers/Blight, and Mr. Fixx are excellent characters as well. This is the third best Batman animated flick and I sure hope WB puts out more movies like this in the future.

If they do put more movies like this in the future I hope they do one thing: Release them in theaters! The animated Batman is the TRUE Batman(along with Tim Burton's Batman movies) not the bright sesame street crud Joel Schumacher has unfortunately created.

I can't wait for the day when we have a live action Batman Beyond movie.

Batman Beyond: The Movie is one animated film no animation fan or Batman fan should be without.

Disney is nothing, this is the BEST animation out there.

Summary: Awesome Cartoon Entertainment!
Review: Batman Beyond is a great step to the futuristic era of Batman. After watching (and recording) all the episodes on television, I find myself watching them over and over again. The new villains, especially the cunning Powers, add to a new world of high-tech criminal activity. Powers is a perfect example of what crime could be in the future; the business executive wielding the power of money and influence. An outstanding opening theme music, more indepth stories, and non-stop battles makes Batman Beyond a great cartoon series!

Summary: Batman beyond was one of the best made in awhile
Review: Batman beyond was a revolutionary move on the producers parts. By making a series not based on any previously written comics, stories and or magazines was the best idea yet. Bruce Wayne, as every one most likely pictures him, an old decrepid man who gave up on everything he believed in. Derek Powers, a man worse off then Luthor( Superman) makes the story even better. Enter Terry mcGinnis, the new Batman which is what fans of Batman needed. A release from the old and an entrance into the new. I thought the idea was immensely refreshing, and that cartoon itself entertaining to watch. Batman Beyond is by far one of the best new series ever to hit TV since the original Batman cartoon debuted 4 years ago. This is one series that will not soon fade into the mists of Television.
