Summary: What a great program for beginners
Review: A delight for new golfers.

I'm a beginning golfer, and I learned alot about golf and the fine courses in the South of France with this DVD.

Jon Norsworthy is a really entertaining host and teacher--his trick shots are great and rival those of the "Hitman" series.

Summary: A Good Time Is Easy with Good Golf Is Easy
Review: At first I was skeptical of Good Golf is Easy. Now, I'm just plain delighted. John Norsworthy, the host of the program, is entertaining, charismatic, and knowledgeable of the game. You can tell he really loves teaching golf and that he REALLY loves the courses in the South of France. They truly are breathtaking. I would recommend this as a gift to any golf lover. The travelogue was very interesting as well. Five Stars!

Review: Don't waster your money on this DVD. The picture quality and content are both very low quality. The movie's age shows (made in the 80s) and the there are far better instructional golf videos on the market. Whether you are novice or expert, if you want to improve your swing, you are better off spening your money on the driving range than than purchasing this DVD.

Summary: Jon Norsworthy fans will love it
Review: Great introduction to the game of golf. Designed for beginners who need to learn good habits from the start. Jon's teaching method, Natural Instinct, is designed to be intuitive for beginners and have an easier learning curve than other methods that force you into uncomfortable and awkward positions.
In the video, you follow two rank amateurs as they learn the basics of the game. No matter how inexperienced you are as a golfer, trust me, the two students of Jon's are probably worse golfers than you are! Jon is great teacher and very entertaining, especially his section on trick shots.

Summary: Good Golf Really Is Easy
Review: I am a seasoned golfer and I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. The neat thing about this DVD is that it appeals to all levels of golfers. From novice to pro's this DVD has something for everyone. The host John Norsworthy is hilarious and very intelligent. The tips he gives are VERY helpful in your game and some I had never heard before (which is saying alot for I've been around golfing for too many years to count). This alone is a reason to buy this DVD. But it doesn't stop there the disc also contains golfing exercises, which for someone with a gut helps alot. The travelogues of Southern France are beautiful, so much so I think I'm going to plan a trip sometime next year.
The quizes are neat as well as the interactive menus. This is a top rate product and every golfer or golf fan should own this one. I'm buying 5 for the golfers in my family for the holidays.

Summary: I liked it.
Review: I found this DVD to be more entertaining than instructional, per se. In an odd way, it's almost comedic -- the host's mixed english/french accent along with his two students whose grasp on the english language is fleeting. By the end, the host is making fun of the students to their face and resigns to showing the best the south of france has to offer.

Summary: John Norsworthy is a pro
Review: I have taken lessons from John Norsworthy and can attest to his skill, knowledge, and teaching style. He has been teaching in the French Riviera for years and many a pupil have learned a great deal from him. I own this program and found it exciting, entertaining, and refreshing...and I feel like I've seen them all!

Summary: Novice Golfer
Review: I just started playing golf and decided to buy the dvd instead of seeing a pro. This was an excellent investment. John's instructions were great and has improved my game considerably. My drive from the tee now goes extremely straight and over 250m far with an entry-level driver.

He should however lose the male student in his next release. The female got to grips with the lessons more easily.

A great buy for the novice golfer. Well done John !

Summary: would have been five stars if
Review: it had better golfers playing as John's students. A quick overview--John takes two young and inexperienced golfers through the basics of the game, and along the way they stop at different sights and courses in France. John's instruction and demeanor are great--he's fun to watch. However, his two students are bad--I know they're supposed to be beginners, but their game is weak all around.
That being said, I thought overall the dvd was good and worth getting--I'd love to visit some of the courses in France in person, after seeing them on this dvd.
