Summary: Not worth it!
Review: I LOVE this show, but the DVD box set is definitely not worth it.
They should just release all series instead!

Summary: Ally McMarathon
Review: I'm almost embarrased to admit this...but I watched all 3 videos / 6 episodes the day my order arrived. I've never missed an episode of AllyMcBeal yet and really enjoyed revisiting some of the best.

So why only 4 stars? Because the set doesn't include ALL the episodes...the first season was one of the best. It must have been difficult to choose only 6.

Summary: Classic Ally..but why only two episodes on the second disk?
Review: I bought this DVD and found myself reliving all of the funny moments. Every episode is great, but why did they only put two episodes on the second DVD? Other than that....you will love these DVDs.

Summary: Bad Day? Need to laugh and feel warm all over? Buy this DVD!
Review: Ally McBeal, especially in this first season, has the perfect blend of drama and comedy. I have laughed out loud and cried during one viewing of this DVD, and at every viewing I laugh and cry all over again. If you like Ally McBeal, you will certainly like this DVD. It has some very useful features such as subtitles and HILARIOUS French dubbing! While there isn't a lot besides the shows worth watching, there is a music video and a shameless plug for an Ally-related book. The sound, quality... everything is perfect, but the best thing about these DVDs is that they contain the precious episodes of laughter, pain, emotion and just plain strangeness! A must-have for any Ally fan, and a must-try for anyone who has ever felt lonely, crazy or strange and anyone who loves to laugh!

Summary: I love Ally McBeal
Review: Ally McBeal is the best show on Television. Since Robert Downey Jr. came onto the show, I haven't stopped crying. He and Ally were meant for each other. She is beautiful and he is wonderful. Both are excellent actors. Tears come to my eyes when I see them together on screen because I do not want to see them part. Tonights show was so sad. I go to sleep with tears in my eyes, and hope in my heart that "Larry" will return to the show soon. Congratulations to the writers, producers, and cast. Bless you all. Connie Crook

Summary: Ally McBeal DVD
Review: I bought the DVD even after I've seen the 1st season episodes. It was very witty and entertaining. Ally is a very complex personality - somewhat messed up, and very human but with all the good intentions. I can relate to her. Psychoanalyzing her is going to be a very very interesting process. That's why I prefer the earlier episods where the focus is on Ally rather than on the too many new characters in the later part.

Summary: That Face...
Review: The show is already an American television classic, of course, thanks to Kelley's hilarious writing and an inspired supporting cast. But the real reason to wach these videos is Flockhart. Seldom has there been a better match between actress and medium. That face was made for television. It's incredibly expressive: she can depict powerful emotions with just the twitch of a lip or the blink of those eyes. She can lead you anywhere.

Summary: Ally
Review: I've been watching Ally McBeal since season one. Calista Flockhart is the best actress on the small screen. David Kelly is a terrific writer. These six episodes were great---- but the next six should include THE DIRTY JOKE, SIDESHOW, ANGELS & BLIMPS and BOY TO THE WORLD--- just to name a few.

Summary: The never ending story of love.
Review: I'm 70 years old and three wives down the road and never knew you could fall in love with a fantasy. Well I have. With Ally McBeal. So don't watch if you don't want your dreams, illusions, thoughts, and realities assaulted. She'll turn you and them topsy turvy. And with plenty of laughter. A salute to David E. Kelly,(our new 'Mr. Entertainer) and Calista Flockhart and the whole cast for pulling it off. I don't care what they say. I LOVE Nelle and Ling. And I hurt from laughing. Every week. Elton Levon Powell, Bay Minette,Al.

Summary: Ally Rocks
Review: This compilation is awesome but then again ask any Ally McBeal fan that and they'll tell you exactly the same thing. The thing that probably makes the series work so well are the querks that each character has. The only downside to this release is the fact that it leaves you deperately craving for more. Take note Fox, we the fans want the whole collection, it is cruel to only leave us with a portion of the episodes.
