Summary: Solid quality, unbelievable value
Review: Man, the folks at Apex sure turn out some very solid products at incredible prices. (I just hope they aren't using child or prison labor! :-> ) The AT2002 is a basic TV set that's being discontinued but still represents a great value, because you get a high-quality picture tube, lots of features, and good viewing angles. Nobody will take this for a plasma TV that's for sure, so those who don't really own a unit should stop trashing this Ameican brand.

Summary: Great with XBox !
Review: My boys use this television with their X-Box. The picture is great and the sale price was awesome. My son had been begging for a larger television to replace the 13 inch he was using. This woked out beautifully. Oh, and it had the right outlets to hook the games up to, too. All we had to do was bring it home and plug it in. There cannot be a better deal out there for the price.

Summary: Good TV, Bad Remote
Review: My tv works fine, no problems as such, however about 5 to 6 buttons have come off from my remote. So now have to depend on universal remotes instead of original remote.

Navigation in menu is also not very convenient. However, picture quality is good, actually better compared to the price paid.

Summary: Not a flatscreen but...
Review: This is a great TV. But the fact is this is not a flatscreen. It is a black enhanced CRT tube. I became suspicious when I saw no markings on the box or any indications in the instructions that this is a flatscreen TV. I do not know how it works as a television but it works exceptionally well with X-Box video game system and I would suspect any other video game system as well. And though not being stereo and not having a S-video are drawbacks it is an exceptional TV for the price. The features are user friendly. Images are sharp and clear. However do not expect the sharpness and clarity of a pure flatscreen.

Summary: A good display but a few caveats...
Review: This is not flat screen nor does it have the the S-video hook up that some reviews have claimed. Although it has two speakers I cannot verify that it has stereo sound. Stereo is not listed with the other features on the box and is never mentioned in the instruction manual. I can say that there are no stereo AV inputs. If you have a DVD player or video game system with stereo output you'll have to settle for mono sound . Also, though there are two AV inputs there is only one video mode for both of them. That means that if you have a devices connected to each set of inputs only one can be on at a time or you'll get a distorted combined picture.
I hope all that hasn't put you off the TV. Depending on your needs it may work very well for you. Personaly I only need it to display a picture. I hook my VCR and DVD to my Amp for real stereo sound.

Summary: A Good Deal For the Price
Review: This set is well worth what I paid for it. It has a cheap look to it and the picture quality lacks much "warmth" or "depth" regardless of the settings I entered. The sound is a little tinny but quite tolerable. Because it is a 'listen to the news while getting ready in the morning and a bedtime TV', I am not too concerned about these shortcomings. I would not recommend it as your main set or one that is used frequently to watch movies but as a background noise and/or bedroom TV, it is more than adequate.
