It uses an Invar shadow mask and a comb filter. An alloy in the tube's shadow mask resists heat expansion and deformation, and thus prevents color distortion or "doming." The comb filter electronically controls and separates color (chroma) and picture (luminance) information to reduce "dot crawl" for a sharper picture. This set also offers MTS/SAP stereo surround sound and 10 watts of audio output so the audio quality is as crisp as the picture.The Zenith IQB36B44W features the two-tuner picture-in-picture, a convenient way to watch two channels at once on the same TV. Dual tuners free up the VCR to record a third channel at the same time. Included with the two-tuner picture-in-picture are special features such as freeze, picture swap, audio swap, and move. Guide Plus+ Gold, another convenient feature of the Zenith IQB36B44W, is a built-in electronic program guide that uses an easy-to-read grid guide system for easy channel navigation.
