Summary: Great TV, except... I sent it back and bought something else
Review: Add my name to the list of customers disappointed with Zenith for shipping products with known defects. The previous review on the Amazon site mentioned the faulty PIP, but I've had great luck with Zenith, and went ahead anyway. I've taken delivery of two of these sets, and today I called to have the second one returned and my money refunded. The PIP didn't work. It's a shame, because I love the TV otherwise. Summary: PIP Failed, but otherwise
Review: I ALSO had the PIP fail in my unit, in fact - it never worked out of the box. Zenith service sent someone out, they had to haul it away for a few days (couldn't fix it onsite), and I got it back. Worked fine ever since. No other problems. So, only that little annoyance, and I'll give it 4 out of 5.

Summary: Do not buy this TV!
Review: I bought this Zenith TV 3 years ago and it lasted 1 year. It broke just as the warrenty expired. I went to get it fixed and OF COURSE they don't "make parts for Zenith anymore". Just my luck. The TV only works maybe 4 hours out of thw week. When I try putting the TV on it makes a clicking noise and then if I'm lucky after about 5 minutes of "clicking" it might go on. Once it's on it only last for maybe 1 hour. DO NOT BUY A ZENITH. They are garbage!!

Summary: Great TV Once the Bugs Were Worked Out
Review: I had the same disappointing experience as some other reviewers with this TV: PIP failed almost immediately. The problem was fixed under warranty, but it took two weeks for the repair shop to get replacement internal circuitry from Zenith. I can't believe Zenith is unaware of this problem by now. Now that everything's running right, the set is terrific....Excellent picture and color (especially with digtal cable and a Zenith Inteq DVD player) and great sound (integrates well with my compact stereo sound system).

Summary: All The Features, But Not Perfect
Review: I was ecstatic to receive this television! I loved the Guide+, the picture was good and the stereo sound was excellent! It was surprisingly easy to set up and I knew I was the first 'kid on the block' with this Zenith product! Then, here came the glitch. The picture in picture (dual tuner) stopped working after about 1.5 days. I followed all the troubleshooting instructions but no luck! I called Amazon and they were outstanding when it came to replacing the television (I think they were shipping the new one while I was on the phone!). I received my new Zenith and was getting excited all over again. Well, believe it or not, the picture in picture stopped working on this one after about 5 minutes! (This is one feature I specifically shopped for.) So, I contacted Zenith and explained the problem with the TV. They explained to me that they have been having problems with the picture in picture boards in these sets. I asked if there was a recall and they stated "not at this time." I then asked "Should I just get another one and hope it works?" They really did not have a response and only said "I'm sorry." I called Amazon again and informed them of this and the service, once again, was outstanding! If I knew that the bugs were worked out of this set, I would have no hesitation in purchasing it once again. But, until then......

Summary: Poor Quality
Review: I will never buy a zeith again... We bought ours and it lasted 1yr and 9 months and quit. The cost of repair was greater than the cost of a new TV. I would think a TV would last longer than a yr and 9 months.
