Summary: Great MP3 Player
Review: I have had this MP3 player for about 10 months now. It is NOT very difficult to program at all. The built in recording mode might not get used much but it is a nice feature. Anyone worried about breakage should realize that it just needs a little careful handling. I would not want to drop any of my electronic devices. My buttons have not even begun "falling off".

One little inconvenience is that I wish the Jukebox software would transfer the tunes in the order that they were on the original CD.

Summary: Troubleshooting Webpage
Review: I have just bought this player and was about to return it cos I could not even manage to download to it.
Anyway, I found the answer to my problem on the Executive Marketing website...
You can also contact them by phone...(that's how I got the web address).
I cannot say much about the product for the moment, only that the user manual is useless.
Also, be aware that the musicmatch software does not allow every mp3 file to be downloaded (protects songs with copyright).I know that some other players don't have this big downfall.

Summary: A Useless Paperweight
Review: I have purchased many items from Amazon for several years now and this is the first time that I have had to write an unfavorable review. I had purchased the player based on the previous reviews and when I received the player, the software was easy to install and uploading music files to the player was a snap and the quality of audio was very good.

However, after the player went through my playlist once, it got stuck on one song. It would play that one song over and over and over again. At that point, the audio stopped working so I could no longer hear the music. I tried using the "Stop" button to turn the player off but it would not work. None of the buttons would work. I checked to see if the controls were locked but the player wouldn't let me access the menu. I finally had to the let the battery power down. I re-charged the battery and turned the player back on but the same thing happened after the player had played only 2 of my songs.

I called technical support but they never retuned my call. I thought maybe the player was defective so I returned it and got a new one. The same thing happened so I just returned the player.

DO NOT BUY this player. For this amount of money, you are better offer buying an established brand such as Intel or one of the others.

Summary: Back away from the player
Review: I hope you like it when the buttens pop of the things you buy. And if you like dealing with media errors then this is the mp3 player for you. Do yourself a favor and invest in a GOOD player like the jukebox.

Summary: Defective
Review: I loved the price and the capacity on this player, but it frequently stops working for no reason. To get it started again you need to remove the battery. Needless to say, this is a huge pain. Customer service is a joke.

Summary: Too good to be true
Review: I recently bought this mp3 player for a Christmas gift. It seemed like a great product: lots of memory, reasonably priced, compact size and many rave reviews. However, when I tried to set it up, I ran into numerous problems. For starters, while I was uploading music to the device, after 1 GB, it said that it was full. Then the software, Musicmatch, couldn't recognize the device, so I could not reformat its hard drive. The menu system on the mp3 player was confusing and difficult to navigate. Also, I could not find any online support for this virtually unknown company. Although I'm sure I bought a lemon, I didn't care to exchange it for another one, knowing that even if I had gotten it to work, it wouldn't have been worth it anyway.

Summary: This is a great mp3 player
Review: I recently bought this mp3 player for myself and I could not be happier. Not only can I bring a vast collection of music with me wherever I go but I can also arrange the music in playlists that reflect my moods. One of it's best features is that I can download directly from my cd's NO COMPUTER REQUIRED. Its great and I would recommend this player to anyone

Summary: Too big, too heavy, too ugly
Review: i recieved this as a gift, and when I saw it I had to lie to my grandma about liking it. OK, it is quite good for holding so much but really! It was 3 pounds, costs too much and is the most hideous looking thing I've ever seen. Buy an iPod!

Summary: Works Great With Additional Software
Review: I too thought this Mp3 player was a great price and it is for 10gigs of storage. The not being able to upload from device to computer really made me frustrated and mad until i did sum digging and found edig.com web site. If you download the firmware update for the treo in the product support section of that website it comes with sum software called e.digital musical explorer that lets u transfer back and forth from device to computer in a windows explorer type of window. It works great with the CHD1000 if not for that software i would have trashed the thing and took the price as a loss. I would include url but its not allowed. Any questions feel free to hit me up on yahoo as philavs1876.

Summary: It does the job......
Review: I'm always skeptical of buying products that are cheap in price but this XP3 Classic 10GB Player does the job. Don't worry about using the earbuds that come with the player. I went and bought a good set of Sennheiser earbuds and the sound quality of XP3 is outstanding. It's bulky compared to an iPod but for the price of XP3, I'm getting a better deal. The beauty of the XP3 is the OS is upgradeable. If you don' go for looks and go for a great sounding machine, then XP3 is the MP3 player you need. GREAT STUFF!
