Summary: Too noisy & fussy
Review: This printer makes a LOT of noise before, during, and after printing. I have mine on a sturdy table, but the whole table shakes while it is printing. You have to have plenty of paper in it, otherwise it won't print. It jams easily as well. You have to be very careful that nothing is anywhere near where the printout comes out. Otherwise the paper will go back in the printer and jam. As for the printouts, they are fine, but nothing special. Before this printer, I had an old HP deskjet printer (ca. 2000) which printed just as well, and it was also much quieter and faster. If you are looking for a really inexpensive printer, and you don't print but occasionally, this one is o.k. But if you are at all sensitive to noise, or you plan to print late at night, I would not choose this one for fear of disturbing sleeping family members or apartment neighbors.

Summary: Great Printer
Review: This printer surprised me. For being the price that it is, (cheaper than replacing the ink in my HP) it is super. If the instructions are followed, it is very easily installed in under 10 minutes. It is small and lightweight, but powerful. It is alot faster than my other printer and the black ink is powerful also. The photos really shocked me though. With the enclosed photo paper, my digital photos looked better printed from this printer than getting them professionally printed from a photo-finishing website. This printer is one of the best in it's class, and unlike HP the ink is affordable.

Summary: I Love It !!!
Review: This printer was so easy to install. It prints fast enough. And it's small enough it doesn't take up a lot of space. I would suggest it for anyone who has kid that love to print or does a little printing from a home computer.

Summary: Great Value Printer
Review: This was my first canon.
The set up was a breeze. I printed a lot of articles from online webpages and the quality was great. I did not use it for pictures though so I cannot talk about that aspect.
What was great was that the ink lasted a while and you could get cheap refills when you needed it. I usually got a generic at a local office supplies store or online whichever had the best deal going.
And finally buying it at an auction made it an even sweeter deal since I only paid a fraction of the retail price and it came new in box (w/out UPC symbol). I was lucky the seller had an included a USB cable for free with the i320 to make an even better deal.
Yes it was a bit noisy, it had a "pre and post printing noise", but that did not bother me since it did a good Job and saved me money.
I only changed canon printers because I gave the i320 to my parents and I bought an i350 because it prints faster which is more suited to my needs.

Summary: Wonderful printer
Review: When my old printer died, I decided I'd venture out and get a new one. I found this printer, and between the reviews and the price, I decided to give it a shot. Although the printer isn't the quietest or the fastest one on earth, it does the job well. Color printing was impeccable as was normal text printing. My papers look like they were printed on a laser printer. It iddn't print too well on the glossy paper, but it isn't a photo printer so I didn't expect it to be able to print photos wonderfully. What I especially love is the price of the ink cartridges: incredibly cheap! If I had known I could get such an awesome printer at such a good price and with such cheap cartridges, I would've gotten it ages ago!

The printer comes with two cartridges (one black and one color) so that alone saves money, but it doesn't come with a cord to connect to the computer. So, keep that in mind when you purchase it. However, I found a really good USB cable at Amazon for a good price, so that wasn't a big deal. The printer is very easy to set up as long as you follow the directions and make sure you get all the tape and styrofoam off it. The only negative thing about the printer is that it doesn't seem very sturdy. Or, it's not as sturdy as my last one. I'm sure it'll last for years, though, and I don't plan to be slamming it against things.

Overall, I'm very pleased.
