Summary: Small and convenient!!
Review: I just got this item. It works great. Its small volume gives me more convenience to take it everywhere.

Since this item has a rebate from Lexar in this period, it will be a great choice among this kind of product.

I like it.

Summary: a good product, but...
Review: I bought one last month, it's easy to use, as advertised. But this one turns out to have a capacity of only 122MB, in other words, about 5 percent less than it should be. Not so impressive.

Summary: Great Product
Review: This is great, I hate floppy disks and this works great and pretty great size. Kinda a weird color and so doesn't exactly look 'professional' but decent price, although I found cheaper w/o MIR on lesser known brands. Then molding is [inferior] however and I am still trying to remedy that my keychain has broken off of from the thin plastic molding.

Summary: Useful, portable and cheap
Review: Big thumbs up on the USB keychain drive in general, and the Lexar version in particular.

Generally, having something that is cross-platform, portable, holds more than a stack of floppies and costs less than an external floppy drive for my laptop is a big win. Transferring files is fast, and the storage capacity is more than those of us just toting around some Word files and .jpgs will ever need. If you're a graphic designer or an MP3 junkie, well, they make USB drives in ever-increasing storage amounts. Go crazy.

Specifically, Lexar's version is smaller than many of the competitions' offerings (very important for stuffing in pockets, purses, and all those stupid places they hide USB ports on computers), and, the keychain connection is on the main body (I tried a Targus USB drive, but they actually put the keychain on the lid -- one good tug and all you've got on your keychain is a very expensive empty cap!). Plus, Lexar has a teeny tiny switch you can flip to lock the contents from being overwritten or deleted. I have yet to need that, but it's nice to know it's there. Very cool stuff.

Summary: REBATE PROBLEM - BUYERS BEWARE!
Review: ...I too am being denied my...rebate because the company claims not to have received the original UPC code with my rebate submission. I did send this in (you can see that it was cut off the card) but I can't prove a negative. To make this worse, I had actually read and considered this reviewer's warning before purchasing the LexarMedia JumpDrive, so I was very careful to be sure I included the original UPC code. Is this happening to others, as well, I wonder? Otherwise, the product is wonderful and works totally as advertised but, for this reason alone, I could not recommend its purchase.

Summary: Not as large as it seems
Review: This product should be advertised as 128,000,000 bytes or 122MB (1 MB containing 1,048,576 bytes). When your computer tells you a file is 100MB, it doesn't mean 100,000,000 bytes. Furthermore, about 22MB must be consumed in formatting, as there are only 100 MB available for storage. You just need to know what you're getting. Meanwhile, the product has worked well. I am still waiting for my rebate

Summary: Still not big enough
Review: It's a good product, just plug it in and its ready. It is compatible with Windows (I have another brand of this product which gives me "incompatibility" warning and I needed to look for and download drivers before using it).

It's great for transfering files from one computer to another or for carrying your resume or other important documents or presentations around.
But for the money spent, the storage is still not large enough. You'll be surprised how little data it takes to fill up 128 MB!!

Summary: Works as Advertised...
Review: It's soooo James Bond. I needed to move medium-sized files back and forth from another machine. Disks seem to fail continuously on me and I don't own a ZIP drive, so this was the perfect solution. I managed to lose the top that comes with it, but a quick visit to the website and a chat with their 24 hour web-based tech support got me a new one free.

Summary: It works perfect
Review: I just received this little drive and tried it on my PC. It got recognized by my PC (with windows 2000) automactically. Data transferring speed to and from this drive is very fast.

It looks very nice and cute. So far I haven't found any problem yet. It's a great product at a bargain price.

Summary: Fits on Key Chain and works great.
Review: I have been using the 128 jump drive for about 2 months now. Just plug it into the usb port and it shows up as a drive. (I'm using windows xp). Drag and drop the files to the drive or use folders. I carry 14 years of accounting info in 32 megs of storage. I haven't used my zip drive since getting the jump drive. You can zip your files and carry an incredible amount of data on this little thing. I highly recomend it. Fits nicely on my key chain.
