Summary: This little phone is great!
Review: I had a Party Animal phone for about a year but a dunk in a glass of Kool-Aid rendered it useless. Time to replace. I was going to get another Party Animal but as I understand it the phone has been discontinued. I went to Target and bought the K7 Rave phone. Transferring my existing Virgin Mobile number took about five minutes on a nearby payphone. Now about the K7 Rave phone. I love it! It is smaller and lighter than my previous phone. The bright blue backlighting makes everything easy to see. It has Tetris! I like the way the ringtones sound. The screensavers are cute. The only complaint (and it's a little one) is the buttons are kind of small for my big fingers but I'm getting used to them. All in all this is a great little phone. I have been using Virgin Mobile for a year now and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple prepaid plan. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: This phone (and virgin mobile) is very good
Review: I've been using virgin mobile for a year and a half now, first i had the kyocera party animal, and i went through two of them because they broke. When i turned them on it was saying "service required". Virgin mobile was very good about it though, and i sent the broken one back and they replaced it! When the second one broke, I updated to the k7 rave, and I like this phone a little better. The blue backlighting is nice, easy to see at night. It has basically the same menu as the party animal...but it's easy to navigate. The polyphonic ringtones are good as well. To anyone who says its a rip off, or didn't know what they were getting, obviously didn't look into it much. 25 cents per minute for the first 10 minutes (and i never use it for more than 10 a day), and then 10 cents after that. Text messages only 10 cents to send, free to receive. Polyphonic ringtones are $2.00 each, a bit of a rip off, but most services make you pay for them with a credit card, where virgin takes it out of your account. Virgin Mobile is easy to use for anyone, their customer service is great, and if you're looking for prepaid, this is the plan and phone for you.

Summary: Great little phone
Review: My daughter and I love them, great for keeping in touch at a minimum cost. And great for emergencies.

Texting is great, 10 cents to send and nothing to receive.

Calls are 25 cents for the first 10 minutes a day, 10 cents a minute thereafter, but most of my calls are short and on the rare occasion when I have to make several that 10 cents kicks in.

I average $16 a month, my daughter averages $12 and still manages to keep in touch with friends and let us know where she is. We're happy, and she's showed us how to budget. Worth it.

Summary: Raves about the K-7 Rave
Review: My husband and I both use Virgin Mobile, it's great for quick calls to figure out where we are, or in emergencies. This is not good for long chats. I love it! I use about $20 worth of min. every 3 mo.! The K-7 is a good phone.

Summary: Well, If it didn't....
Review: My parents bought this phone for me for Christmas as a sort of want/need phone. When i went on trips with friends i needed a phone to call home. And when comming in late and while going places by myself, my parents use their cell phones to call and check on me. However i also liked the phone. One day i want to wal-mart to buy a case for the phone. That way the screen and phone itself won't get scratched up. Well, as i was putting it in the case my keypad the up/down/left/right one fell completly off!! I called virgin mobile *86 from my cell phone and they said take it back to the store. So i did and got my money back. I used it and 20.00 more to buy the Audiovox 8500. I like it ok. However i would recomend the K7 that Vox 8500 for kids. The audiovox has no games, no flashlight, only 1 polynographic ring tone and 4 beep or monographic ones. It looks better and has a lot more fun features. My only 3 star rating was about the keypad and reception. My audiovox gets WAY WAY WAY better reception that the k7 ever did. So, i wish my 8500 had the features. But reception is better. My recomendation. No. Some of my friends (5) all got K7's and theres broke also. Ones scerrn went blank. One's phone's battery never worked. And other's just stoped comming on. All of them got the SLIDE with I like better. But i'm gonna stick with the 8500. I like flip phones

Summary: Best Phone Ever!!!
Review: OMG! This phone is the best. I wanted a cell phone for likw 5 months and finally I found the Virgin Mobile Kyocera K7 Rave it is the best phone it is small, compact, yet still useable. The keys are for a teenager but this phone is still a great size. I put about $20.00 a m,onth or two months and it takes be about a month or two to use it all up. The ringtones are awesome and kool. You can buy them off of your phone or you can buy them on the internet. You can even buy a friend a ringtone. You can also edit your banner on your phone so you can put any message on it from jennifer's phone to I love Alex whatever you want. There is awesome screensavers and Mtv and Vh1 programs. It even has a compact Flashlight built in it so when you are coming home and can't get that darn key in the door get your phone out and it will help much better. The kool backlighting is the best even though it is not a color phone the back lighting makes a cool glow effect. There is fun games when you are waiting for your little brother to get out of the doctors office or on a road trip you can amuse yourself by playing the fun games you recieve on your phone. Hope you buy this A+++++ phone it is the bomb!!! 13 year old Columbus, Ohio

Summary: GREAT PHONE
Review: Our son split the cost of this phone with us for himself. Let me say its a great little phone. We have put only $50 on it over a month ago and he is still talking on it. I was worried about the cost of the minutes but it has really turned out to be a great thing. I have heard so many stories of parents getting a $220-$300 phone bill for one month; we did not want any surprises so here we are with prepaid. It great because we can look on the website to see how much money is left on his account and we can remind him its time for "him" to top up his account. All in all we are very pleased. I have Sprint PCS and this phone works off the same network and he always seems to have service. You will not be sorry if you get this little phone.
