Summary: Great Phone - Great Features - Great Value
Review: After reading several reviews on this site I was concerned with my latest order with AT&T wireless.

I ordered 2 Mot 721 phones with AT&T national plan. They arrived a week ago an have performed flawlessly. I am impressed with their compact size and features. The display is well laid out and easy to read.

The recpetion is great full bars across the top all the time. The sound quality is excellent in the car, office or outside.

Surfing the web has been easy as a nice feature for checking news, stocks and sports updates.

AT&T was running an online special and I got both phones for $50, they waived their activation fee and I have unlimited phone to phone minutes. And for the money, they have the best national footprint outthere. A+++.

Summary: thanks for the tip
Review: ...found the link to http://muwap.com here on amazon. Also found that they give you 10% off everything when you type in "amazon" as the coupon code. They have tons of tones for the Moto phones, and with the coupon it's only $9/year. Cheaper than mMode, and much better selection. Thanks, whomever posted this before!

Summary: DON'T DO IT!!!
Review: I really wish I had read these reviews BEFORE getting sucked into this phone. But I was tempted by the phone's cool appearance and a great deal from AT&T. Some deal. My complaints are the same as everyone else's:

1. The phone reboots for no reason in the middle of phone calls. FREQUENTLY.

2. Even when my signal bar is full, the people I am talking to hear nothing but static or the dreaded digitized "devil voice." And I hear about every third word they speak.

3. Using any sort of touch-tone menu (bank accounts, navigating through answering services, etc.) is annoying. Every time you push a button you hear LOUD static.

4. I'd estimate that 80 percent of my calls end up getting dropped if I'm on the line more than a few minutes. That is no exaggeration. And it is unacceptable. I have used this phone (or tried) all over Florida, so it's not just that my local signal is weak. I'd have more success with a walkie-talkie.

I bought this phone to replace my Motorola v60, which also had serious reception problems. But this hunk of junk was even worse. Enough is enough. Goodbye, Motorola, and goodbye AT&T.

PLEASE, save your money (and your sanity) and do NOT buy this product. Read the reviews for Nokia and others. I sure wish I had.

Summary: Man hands !
Review: Switched to ATT GSM service. Got the Samsung x426. It was tiny and had only ridiculous muzak songs as ringtones. And they were inaudible. I had to return it.

Got the t721 and LOVE it. Loud, NORMAL ringtones. external display. Larger and more comfortable in a man's hand. Solid.

Down side: can't find anywhere that can send a ringtone to it. I've researched and found these phones aren't good at all at downloading much of anything (wallpaper, tones, nothing). Bit of a learning curve too, lots of features. Or rather, just complicated to get to some of the obvious things. It's like a PC in a sense. Boring, redundant features and icons, but works. Not like the Mac-like Samsung: intuitive, stylish, hip. Not a big deal though.

Summary: If only there were a zero star rating.....
Review: I have been a loyal customer or ATT for years and upgraded from a problem free Nokia 3360 to this flimsy piece of garbage. This is, hands down, the most horrible phone I have ever owned. For starters, the case is made of cheap plastic which would be ok if the inner components were of superior quality, but they are not. In this case, you can definitely judge a book by its cover. If you are going to talk more than 15 min's, have the charger ready because the battery will die. Of course, you will only get to use the charger if the phone LETS you stay connected for 15 min's. For me, the average is 7. Then the phone will either drop the call or the unit itself will just shut down. And keep in mind, the entire time you are talking there is static and calls fade or blank in and out. The phone gets very, very hot while in use, standby time is non-existant and the extremely smudge-friendly display is a constant annoyance. I could go on, but won't. Read the other reviews and make an intelligent decision. Decide against this bug-ridden device.

Summary: Awful...just awful
Review: Bought 2 of these at top dollar ~1yr ago for me and my wife .. same 'ol story .. dropped calls, poor reception, emergency only status in high reception areas, phone turns off out of the blue, voicemail alerts coming through days after the fact (after a phone reboot), etc, etc, etc. ....and "NO" it's not the provider - I've been with AT&T Wireless for over 10 years and have had the original analog Moto flip phones, several different Nokias, and now these - never has it been this bad, even in the old analog and early digital days. Phone has nice features, nice look, color display, slim & lightweight design - it's just a POS.

Review: I have more than 10 years using cell phones, This Motorolla phone is by far the worst cell phone I ever have....
1- The reception is terrible, i have friends with AT&T phones next to me, and They have better reception, I changed to a new T721 under warranty and it's the same....no good reception.
2- The menus...you really need to use the manual, or have a PhD in astrophysics......
I will not give this phone to anyone, not even enemies......please leave this telephone alone.......

Summary: Stay away from this phone
Review: Bought 2 of these phones in May. They both drop calls and both have a lot of static. It is very frustrating to try to have a conversation on them. I am going out today to buy a Nokia 6200. Had a Nokia before and loved it so will go back to Nokia.

Summary: Piece of crap
Review: The phone seems to work well, but the ear piece keeps breaking. Me and my wife both got the same phone from AT&T. We had them two weeks and the knuckle holding the earpiece on broke on both phones. We got new ones and a few weeks later the same thing happened again. We are now waiting on batch number THREE to come back. Motorola keeps saying it's our fault, but they just don't want to deal with it. Don't buy this phone!!!
