Summary: Great Coverage and Save $$$$
Review: My wife and I both have this Tracfone and have no problems. Very good signal in almost any area all over the country. I cancelled my $29.99 Sprint plan and now spend about half that to have two phones. I have used the refer a friend promotion to get many friends to swich and have had no trouble. I would say that anyone who uses less than 70 minutes per month will save by swtching to prepaid and TracFone is by far the best in prepaid. ...

Summary: not the best phone on the market
Review: semi-reliable, wrong battery from the manufacturer, customer service was not top notch.
disappointed in putting my money in stock with the company.
major room for improvement.
have technicians consult an expert to upgrade the quality of the phones' reliability in any situation--regardless of the circumstances
also, too many unnecessary extraneous functions on this phone, otherwise it was so-so for my use.

Summary: Motorla good-Tracfone co. BAD
Review: The Motorla phone is fine & I'd give it a 4 1/2 stars, BUT Tracfone Co. stinks, WE bought this 2nd. phone on their refer-a-friend promotion,( 60 free mins.for each of us) but we got NO free time, impossible to get a human on a land line, sent 3 emails over 12 days with no answer, finaly a email which more less says tough, you get nothing ! IF you pay them up front you'll probly get that item but don't plan on any of their "FREE' stuff, oh yes, one more thing, I first tried to buy this phone from their web site,it didn't go thru ("wrong address on my debit card") Tracfone said, so I got it here (Amazon) about and hour later with the some address, etc. & it went right thru , however Tracfone put a hold on the money, so I couln't use that money for 5 days, my bank said Tracfone made the error, (no kidding) ! anyway Tracfone stinks, good luck if you use them !!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: The phone is great except for some things.
Review: The phone will sometimes not tell me if I have a voicemail. That is my worst problem and I've only had it for a month.

Summary: Tracfone is a great cell phone... as long as you never use i
Review: What I really mean is this is a great phone if you want to use it for less than 30 minutes a month. Great phone to have for emergencies only. Price of call per minute is pretty high, but my monthly cost is only about $8/month for service. See below for the $100/year deal I recommend.

I've bought 3 phones from Tracfone in the last few years and have been happy with the phones themselves and the 'prepaid' aspect of the phones. My only complaint is the customer service. Bar none they have the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I don't think they train these folks at all and I have never gotten a quick answer when I have called. Tracfone does have a decent website and you can do everything you need to do (buy, activate) online. I highly recommend doing it all via their website.

Make sure you do register online... you will get an additional 10 minutes free for doing so. www.tracfone.com

Check out the promotions on their website... they usually have a reconditioned motorola phone with 1 year service and 150 minutes (+ bonus minutes) for $100. They also always have a brand new motorola phone with 1 year service with no extra minutes for $80.

Want an extra 60 minutes? They are offering a 'refer a friend' promotion where the referer and referee both get 60 minutes when a new friend signs up for tracfone. ...
