Summary: Good phone - only a few minor flaws
Review: Well, I've owned this phone for a month now, and I think it's safe to say that it's quite good. Personally, I think the phone performs great, and I've managed to squeeze up to 4 days out of one charge. And while the signal bars often only stays between 2-4 bars, calls are still surprisingly clear. My only complaints are that the phone's camera isn't as good as other phones, and that it doesn't ship with a connectivity cable. Otherwise, this phone is one of the best phones I've ever used.

Summary: eh, it's OK...
Review: -Tmobile specials tend to be better than most-free picture messaging, 7bucks for a 1000 text messages
-You can call your phone from a land line and get to your voicemail for free that way so you don't have to waste minutes
-Honestly, the AT&T phones have much, much better picture clarity and you can save quite a few more pictures (and some even have an option to record short videos)
-The memory runs out pretty often which really limits you on pictures saved on your phone (I have like 10 tops), and I even deleted all the useless pictures that come with the phone (a few cannot be deleted), as well as the screen savers
-some of the ring tones you can download are fun
-their customer service department is pretty darn helpful, and you can dial #646# just to check your minutes (but not your # of text messages)
-I get really bad range in LOTS of places, I've seen many more phones from different companies that do just fine in my area & mine doesn't get range in most buildings and lots of places outside-which SUCKS
-overall it's an OK phone but seriously you could do way better as far as range and picture quality

Summary: A decent mobile for a price you pay
Review: I have been using this phone for four months. I am still monkeying around with T610. Here are the Pros and Cons I found so far...

Pros :)
1. As Every body says it.. Great Display.
2. Very Compact... fits a mid size hand perfectly well!
3. Ring tones are much better than those provided by Samsung et al!
4. I don't feel there is any problem with Navigation with menu as described by other users.
5. The battery life is also good (close to 4hrs of talking time)
6. Finally... U have a music DJ...hmmm... May interest some ppl!

I dropped my phone on a hard floor.. happy that it still functions properly... (except for a few scratches :-() rugged uh!

now to the Cons :(
1. The volume control doesn't work when you are in the main menu
(the initial display screen). It gives the profile of the phone instead (some times irritating).
2. Can't control the brightness. Some time too bright in the dark.
3. No Speaker Phone

Other than these I am not able to find any negatives points for this piece.

If ppl say that camera/pics are not of good qlty.. well go and buy yourself a digital camera and start shooting pics. This is just an added feature.

Warning: If your palm is too large.. this phone might not fit to your needs... The keys are just the right size for phone of this size.

The service from T Mobile is just ABOVE AVERAGE... nothing exceptional about it. I get lot of Spam text messages and they charge for that too. I tried blocking the text messages.. but it still comes.. no matter what I do. (I am really annoyed about this)

Over all rating 4/5

Summary: Horrible reception - returned it after 1 week !
Review: Don't waste your time with this phone! I could never get decent reception on this phone, even though I was clearly in the coverage area. My wife also has T-mobile service, and gets great reception in the same locations. When I called T-Mobile, the representative confirmed (unofficially) that this phone has well-known reception problems. I'm returning this one to Amazon ASAP.

Summary: Great Cameraphone
Review: I absolutely love this phone. Until now, I've never been satisfied with any cameraphone. If you want to see the image quality click http://snapnpost.com/joshe/ to see some pics that my friend put up from his T610

Summary: Phone will freeze
Review: Got this phone for about 6 months, and overall it is ok, not as user friendly as Nokia, but get used to it. One bad thing is this phone will freeze itself. Try to exchange with another phone, but T-Mobile exchange program only give a refurbished one, not a new one, and after exchange, only have limited warranty.

Summary: good looking hardware, bad software and menus
Review: (...)

The good: its a very nice looking phone; its the right size, neither too small or too big; blue tooth enabled. The best is the blue tooth that allows you to use wireless headsets or connect to your PC and use the phone to send/receive faxes, surf the net, or update the address book.

The bad: you cannot read the screen outside unless its dark (Its like trying to watch TV when the sun is hitting the screen directly.); the camera is a gimmick that fades away pretty quick (I never used it that much); the software is slow; and the menus are counter-intuitive.

The worst is the software and the menus. I havent seen a phone that has easier menus than Nokia and this Sony Ericsson is no exception. Nokia's menus are very intuitive and easy to use, this phone's menu is just badly designed, meaning that you have to push more buttons than necessary to perform common tasks like adding a number to your address book, or editing an address book entry, moving messages around, going back to the main menu, etc. Also, because the menus are software-based (vs. being hard wired into the chip like phones with monochrome screens) there is a lag sometimes between the instant you push a button and when the menu is displayed on the screen, like using a computer with little memory. Also, you are not allowed to erase the built-in TMobile graphics and sounds, which take up memory space, and you cannot use a recording as your Ring Tone (they do that so that you dont use "protected" music for your ring tones and are thus forced to buy it from them). Finally, the phone actually crashes if you stop a voice record command immediately after starting it.

All in all, nice looking hardware but with crappily designed menus.

Summary: cool features, but problems...
Review: POSITIVES:
SMALL SIZE
BLUE TOOTH
COOL LOOKING

NEGATIVES:
PHOTO QUALITY MAKES THE CAMERA USELESS
RECEPTION IS MUCH, MUCH POORER THAN THE MOTOROLA V300 AND THE NOKIA 6610
NOT VERY COMFORTABLE AGAINST THE EAR
NO SPEAKER PHONE
FRONT SMUDGES EVERY TIME IT IS USED
BUTTONS ARE OF POOR QUALITY

I RETURNED THE PHONE TO AMAZON BECAUSE OF THE PREVIOUS MENTIONED.

Summary: The Perfect Cell Phone...Ever!
Review: Pros: Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Bluetooth. This phone has a perfect connection to my Palm Tungsten and it is a great web phone. I can check my email, stay up to beat with the weather, and I always know what movie is coming up and at what time.

Pros: The Camera. This has been voted the best camera phone, and I can see why. You can take color pix, B&W pix, can even add effects to them, and can mail them to your friends in a snap

Pros: there are SO many gosh-darn features on this little thing, after a year of owning it, I am still finding out new and cold things about it. The TEXT Messaging is off-the-hooK, providing predictive texting so that the phone predicts what you are spelling ( which saves time).

Cons: Not a single one ( Now, you must have an awesome mobile carrier AND must pay additional charges for wireless web and text/picture imaging, but it is worth it!)

I honestly can go on for years about the pros of this phone, it's still one of the best on the market.

If you are like me and wanted a Bluetooth/international/Color/Camera phone with email and web access, this is it....

Summary: You have to be lucky
Review: Got the phone last week. Found out that when I am not on the network, callers can't reach my voice mail...tried it myself, and all I get is a busy signal.
I had set the phone to automatic lock to avoid it turning on when in my pocket...worked well for two days, but on the third day the top four keys along with the joystick stopped working.
Called up t-mobile and they said they would send a refurbised model for exchange :(
But some of my friends have this model and it works fine for them...I am wondering if I was sent a refurbished model in the first place.
