Summary: It works pretty well for its cost
Review: I have been using this phone for an year. Came to Amazon to hunt for a new one. Overall its a pretty good phone. The reception is great compared to others like Motorola. The keyboard takes sometime getting used to.

One of the main problems was the "Sim Card Not Ready" message. I had to reinsert the sim card a couple of times. Also, its not a tri-band.

But other than that Nokia has done a pretty good work on this phone. I would reccomend it to anyone who is looks for a normal no frill phone that is easy to carry in you trouser pockets (not shirt).

Summary: Why Is Everyone Complaining About A Great Phone?
Review: I have this is prepaid (I can't find out where you put a review) and its great. I had a Motorola V66 and that was the biggest mistake ever. You can barely read it and its kinda cheap, and now color phones are better. Anyways, so after that other phone got some rain damage, this was the cheapest prepaid one, so I thought I might as well try it. Yes, the brownish goldish faceplate isnt the prettiest but I might get a better looking one soon, and the brown isnt THAT bad. Within a day I got used to the keyboard, and the backlighting of the keyboard is brilliant. I've seen some phones with better color, but this has lots of colors, and its definately better than a non-colored phone. The IM doesnt work on my phone, I think because its prepaid, but that doesnt really matter. The ringtones and wallpapers are soo cool, since my last phone couldnt get them. I love this phone and TOTALLY would suggest you get it.

Summary: Good for its time
Review: As we all know, cell phones are almost as bad as PC's with how quickly they become obsolete. I got this phone several months ago, and it was a good deal at $50 because it had a color screen. Now, if you do your research you can get a better phone for free. Here are the pros and cons that I have noticed in my experience with the phone:

Pros:
• The little blue rubber finger thingie in the back is very comfortable (however, read the cons below!)
• The keys seem wierd, but after a small adjustment period, they are actually better (more comfortable, even with text messaging) than other phones I've used
• Reception is good - I know this is part phone quality because I had the same provider with a crappier phone and reception was much worse
• Good amount of features for the price (I'm not going to list them all - check out the specs if you want to know)
• Battery life is good - I a few hundred minutes a month (400 - 700) and it takes 3-4 days to run out of battery
• Although resolution is smaller than newer phones, it can be easier to read because the font is larger
• Ring tones are nice but I don't ever use them - I think it's annoying when someone has their ring turned up to level 99999 just to show off their ring tone
• Contrast is good - the other guy that complained about this either has a bad phone or needs some vision correction :O)
• Weight - it is lighter than most other phones in its class
• Skydiver! I don't play the other games - not much of a backgammon fan

Cons:
• The little blue rubber finger thingie falls off very easily! You can superglue it back on, if you don't lose it like I did!
• Size - other phones that are smaller are available for cheaper now
• Lower LCD resolution may be a downside if you like the tinier, more defined font of newer phones
• None of the fancier new doohickeys that more expensive phones have (camera, IR port, speakerphone, etc.) but then again, it's cheaper - you get what you pay for!
• The search thing in the contacts is kind of annoying - you can press the first letter of the entry to get to it, but if you press "J", it will only show the entries that start with "J" and not K and L until you press the #5 key more than once
• The ugly brown faceplate they give you by default (this may have changed?) - I refuse to pay an extra $20 just to get a decent-looking faceplate off the Nokia webpage! You know they give you the ugly color so you'll be forced to buy a better one.

A few words about other people's reviews... What do you mean it has no SIM card?! Of course it does. And one person complained about the SIM card sliding out... how can that happen when the battery is holding it in?! The volume range is great - it's not LOUD on the lowest setting - it's perfect on medium and if you're standing on the street you don't even need it up all the way. I have never had problems with my SIM card, freezing, nor the time being off as jack123487 had (a good example of a person getting a single bad product and generalizing this experience). The case is actually very UNslippery and quite grippy - haven't you ever held those phones with the glossy, slippery paint? Although the phone is light, it feels quite sturdy. The main thing to keep in mind is that most of the service problems people are complaining about have nothing to do with the phone - it is the service provider!

Summary: great phone for the price
Review: This is a great phone for the price, and actually a great phone overall. It has many features including a color screen, voice activated dialing, and Nokia quality, for free! If you want a camera phone, or a phone with a higher resolution, go pay the higher price!

This phone, combined with the superior T-Mobile service is a great deal!

Summary: it's a nice phone
Review: im a 17 year old girl so my phones have got to be pretty durable. this one works just great. i cant tell you how many potentially-dibilitating drops this phone has faithfully withstood, or how many times its been abused in the crushing atmosphere at the bottom of my purse yet manages to work fine. i've had it for a few months now and i havent had any problems thus far. im not crazy about it's size; it's larger than its predecessor (the one without a color screen) but then again, it's a good phone- which compensates nicely for it's larger size. i like the ringtones you can download; they come out good on the phone. right now i've downloaded sexual healing, freebird, santeria, and drive. they all sound pretty good comparitively speaking. i love this phone. you should get it too. :)

Summary: Over time it falls apart
Review: When i first got this phone i thought great! finally a good nokia phone but after awhile it's true colors came out...the SIM card started sliding out on it's own and the finger grip on the back fell off!!!! not to mention the nokia sticker on the front is sliding off too the ringtones basically suck and it takes forever to load anything i wouldn't recommend this phone to anybody it's more trouble then it's worth....even if it's free it cost tooooo much

Summary: Excellent look and nice performance!
Review: The NOKIA 3595 color phone is very reliable. The cell battery lasts a long time, even with constant game usage! The games, they are GREAT! Many features are on this phone and I find the cell phone batter and signal voice features a great tool. This phone is SLEEK and DURABLE...all for a GREAT PRICE!* I love this phone because many people have it, which makes me fit in; there are easy to use features and an EXCELLENT signal! Always!

*Depends on your phone service company.

Summary: REALLY GREAT PHONE
Review: I recently purchased this phone and simply love it. It is very easy to use and has great features. This is the kind of phone I would also suggest purchasing for your child. If you are looking for a really fancy phone with every feature, I would advise you not to but this phone but otherwise go ahead!!!

Summary: Nice Color - not the greatest buttons
Review: I upgraded from my old Nokia and the process was seamless.
I enjoy the color screen. I don't enjoy the buttons so much.
Some of the numbers on the key pad share the same "rocker" button and it is easy to mis-dial. www.jafguitar.com
Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the sound and graphics.
That's why I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars.
