Summary: Jornada 568
Review: I bought this b/c I liked the built-in screen cover AND for the built in expansion slot. And geez it is very thin. Fits right in your shirt pocket. And light weight. This is a very high quality piece of equipment.

Summary: Fantastic Product!
Review: Love this product! Reviewed many of the products in this category before I made the purchase. It's very easy to use and upgrade. Would tend to agree with the others who have reviewed and enjoy this product. There is very little it doesn't do (is not MAC connectable or wireless although you can connect an optional modem).

The only quirks I've found so far (which aren't what I call major):

1) On booting up my notebook computer with the USB cradle, it is better if I don't immediately connect the cradle with power until my computer has finished loading. Otherwise, my computer insists on dedicating a USB connection to the device and I can't use a hub (or any of the devices connected to the hub other than the Jornada).

2) It comes with Pocket Access, but I can't find any documentation. It appears you can use databases to some extent, but as to what that extent is, who knows.

3) I have a file that I can't resolve in terms of synchronization. Haven't been able to find the error - it's just been circular.

Summary: A Palm Convert Forever!
Review: I had a Palm Vx but I absolutely love this product. I chose it over the Compaq as I didn't want to deal with expansion sleeves which add bulk to the product. This will do everything the Compaqs will do and it comes with a whole lot of software.

HP got it right with this one . . . the best of the new bunch!

Summary: Great device, but dim screen gives it a thumbs down
Review: I owned one for 29 of the 30 days in my return policy, and opted to return it. I loved the cover, the feel of it (very well balanced), the removeable battery, the buttons, etc., but the screen was way too dim, even with the backlight cranked up all the way. Compare it side by side with an iPaq and you'll see the difference.

Summary: iPaq Killer
Review: This device will end the iPaq's top spot for Pocket PC's. This is smaller, and feels great in your hand..Nice rubberized grips around the edges. Protective cover makes it a breeze to pop into your shirt pocket or trousers. Removable/swappable battery allows for extended life away from your cradle. I can go on and on. Having owned the ipaq and Palm devices, I can say this is surely the best device on the market HP did it right.

Summary: HP finally got it right
Review: I was a little skeptical when I first order the Jornada 568. I mean its predecessor wasn’t very impressive compare to Casio or Compaq. But after owning mine for a week, I have to say, I am impressed. The unit is small and lightweight, which fits comfortably in the front pockets of my pants without dragging my pants down. Although the screen is not as big and not as bright as the new iPaq 3800s, it is very reasonable in both areas. I think HP did that purposely to give a longer battery life – it can easily last over 10hrs! Another neat thing about the HP is that its build-in expansion slot supports Compact Flash, of the cheapest memory chip format out there. I got a 256MB CF for a little over (dollar amount) and can fit more than 4hrs of mp3s or even a full length movie in the right format. The flip screen cover is a nice touch too. It’s a lot more pleasing to the eyes than the ones that come w/ the new iPaq, thus resulting with a unit that has excellent fit and finish. I had heard others complain about dusk problems, but so far I haven’t notice any. The only dusk I’ve seen is on the exterior of the screen, which can be easily removed with a duster. So I am a happy camper. =) I will recommend the Jornada 568 to anyone interesting in buying a multi-functional PDA.

Summary: Latest Pocket PC with Modereate Improvement to iPAQ
Review: Most of the improvements of the latest and the most expansive Pocekt PC is from the New Pocekt Windows 2002 rather than Jornada's its own technology. It has exact same Processor as iPAQ with expection of having more memory (everyone can throw in more memory these days, nothing so creative in that). The sound of Jornada is less than that of iPAQ. It sound little duller and dimer. Maybe it's my headphone. Also, its input display screen is duller too. You have to press your pen harder than you usualy have to with other Pocekt PCs. There is also minor bugs I've found with the new Pcoekt Windows 2002, although it's not Jornada's fault, it affects its perrformance neverthless.
Jornada 568's place in the best Pocket PC will be qucikly given away to even better and faster ones in several months. You might want to wait little longer.

Summary: The PDA Star
Review: I have owned the HP 545 and 548 in the past, but my 568 is even better. I love the size and weight factor. Some reviewers say that it is too light, but I feel that it is just right - the Jornada 568 does not feel like it is hollow. I like the screen too. I have seen the top shadow that people have noticed, and the bright purple edges. About the shadow, it is visible only at certain angles - when held in a natural position, you do not see it. You quickly get used to the purple borders, and stop noticing them as much you stop noticong the black borders on your computer monitor.

Summary: Too expensive & didn't work fine
Review: I experienced lots of trouble with this item, windows didn't work right, and when I found out how to manage my sychronization it was too late, I had lost all my data. I spent over 1,000 USD in the pocket PC and accesories and after 6 months finally trew it in the trash can, since the connection port had broken without doing nothing. It was my first Pocket PC after trying all Palm models and devices, and finally went back to Palm with Zire 71, which I recommend a lot better. Palm OS is more stable, never breaks dowm, and allways reliable.
