Summary: Great Buy!
Review: I have had this mp3 for probably about 4 or 5 years. It has been AMAZING! I got it when mp3s first came out, so it was a great little gadget that no one else had at the time. I was able to easily put songs on it, and now I look for good quality songs with small sizes to get the maximum value out of it. It is the smallest and most lightweight mp3 I have seen, it fits easily in the palm of your hand and the buttons aren't too small. The battery wear is great, I'd say probably 12 hours. I just wish it could be expanded to a larger size. Overall, it has been great for me!

Summary: The Yepp is great
Review: I just recieved my YEPP today and nothing but good comments. The software is extremely easy to use. I had my mp3 player full in 15 minutes from opening the box and I am not what people consider smart. The LCD screen is extremely easy to use. It also includes useful extras such as the telephone book and voice recording. The YEPP is the lightest and smallest audio player. You do not notice it in your pockets.

Summary: Great Buy!
Review: I was under the impression that the YP-E64 could be upgraded to a total of 128MB by using a 64MB Smart Media Card. This is not true. I was very disappointed about that. I tried using a 64MB SMC I bought specifically for this MP3 player, and ended up having to use the 32MB one I bought for my digital Camera. And the 128MB one I bought...useless, unless I want to take 300+ pictures with my camera. Other than that, the Voice recorder works great, and it sounds good. Just wish the voice recorder had the option to record at better quality than it does. Overall, it isn't bad, just not what I thought it would be.

Summary: little storage makes for little enjoyment
Review: Ok, so you've got your 20, maybe 30 songs, now what? What if you want to go on a trip? You think that's gonna last ya? Look at the Creative Nomad Jukebox! With 6 GB of storage space, this thing'll last you forever (metaphorically speaking.) just save a little more, it will be worth it!!!

Summary: this things awesome
Review: Product is awesome. Great for jogging and general exercise. Downloading is a little cumbersome but quicker than I anticipated. Had trouble with a particular download and tried to email samsung support. Got the typical no-answer. No acknowledgement, nothing. If your not somewhat familiar with MP3 technology and need help or support, this product is not for you. Based on my experience, you will not get support from the manufacturer. You are basically on your own.

Summary: THE DETAILED OUTLINE OF THE GOODS AND BADS OF "YEPP"
Review: Samsung's Yepp is an excelent player for anyone that doesnt have Windows 98 or higher. Even if you do, it has a USB connection that is optional.

The GOOD things:

1. The player has a good amount of space (64 mbs) 2. The player is well design and easy to get used to 3. It is of minimum weight and size (it fits in the palm of your hand) 4. The software is very well made and very easy to use 5. What else do you need?

The BAD things: 1. Close to Nothing The reason I say this is that you can rule out all the things you would first think is bad: a) No backlighting feature That is ruled out because you don't really need it, and it uses battery power. b) Of Course, bad earphones This is also ruled out because all mp3 players have bad earphones. c) Sometimes you have to press a button twice for it to work This is ruled out becuase this only happens to me because the player has such a "touch me feel me" quality to it that I don't want to damage it (even though I won't).

Overall this player would be a great buy for anyone.

Summary: This wins hands down
Review: The Samsung Yepp is probably the best MP3 player around. It's very light (take the ball out of your mouse - it's lighter than that!) and thin (unless you put the belt clip on) and for those who just want to use it the second you buy it - it comes with 2 songs already on it! It can easily be expanded to 3 hours of music with a flash card - when i first loaded my MP3s onto this I was wishing i had more to use! For any of you saving up to get the 32mb one, go for 64! You'll be thanking yoursleves (i was!)

PROS Jitter-free music, Lightweight, 3 Line LCD Display

CONS Display not backlit, USB is optional, The design could be better (Rio 600!)

Summary: Samsung Yepp YP-E64 Review
Review: The Yepp 64 is very cool. With 64MB built in and a SmartMedia slot for additional memory, this device ranks among the top in terms of storage space.

It is very small and very light. Sound quality is excellent - although the earbuds that it comes with are not that great. (I went out and purchased a set of Sony Earbuds - much much better).

It comes with an ECP Parallel Port Cable, but also supports USB (cable sold separately). As long as you have an EPP/ECP Parallel port the transfer rate is actually pretty fast.

Although I was't planning on ever using it - the built in microphone is pretty good for recording live events :)

It plays all forms of MP3 with no problems (Variable bitrate, high bitrate etc..)

The only negatives I can see are, you need to buy new headphones, The display isn't backlit.

I am a very happy customer.
