Summary: a solid mp3 player
Review: you will probably get the most for your money with this player as opposed to some of it's competitors. the sound quality is better than most too. but not all are praises...there are 3 minor or major problems depending on the user. this mp3 player is definitely NOT for people with speed as tht priority. just about everything from downloading (which should be made faster with the optional USB cable which I haven't yet had the impatience to purchase but probably will), to the song selection (it takes about 2-3 seconds to scroll through each song). and another problem is that it will pretty much render your smart media card useless with anything else than this device if you use it format it to the "YEPP" format. this really stinks for us that have digital cameras that we'd like to share these expensive little cards with. I did not know about this fact until AFTER I purchased it...and having smart media cards already was a big part of going with this rather than some of the ones that were't compatible. other than that...this product is great and I would reccommend it to most.
